Abstract: In general, the main problem in ultrasound images is reduction of noise and problem is
more severe when the noise is multiplicative in nature. In this paper, we present a novel method to
combine different filter using brute force algorithm to enhance the quality of ultra sound image.
This method is divided into two parts i.e. pre processing and brute force algorithm. In pre
processing median filter,fuzzy filter which will evaluate the different characteristics as noisy,
homogeneous, and edge and Savitzky golay method were applied which gives smooth image while
preserving shape and height of the Ultrasound image. Secondly, Savitzky golay filtered image and
fuzzy filtered image were decomposed into different wavelet sub bands using directional dependent
mask and finding out the better threshold value of each band by using brute force algorithm.
Evaluation of the method based on different parameters show that proposed method can improve
the quality of Ultrasound image. Key Terms: Directional dependent mask, non decimated wavelet

Abstract Today there are various camera based technologies available for blind or visually
impaired peoples that enhance independent living and foster economic and social self
sufficiency. Various devices developed to make the life of blind people easy. A number of
portable reading assistants systems like barcode scanners, product identifier, indoor and outdoor
object detection, road navigator have been designed specifically for the visually impaired peoples.
For designing these systems various algorithms were used. This paper provides survey on all

Yusuf M.A Adigun J.T (2010) Examined the influence of school type, sex and location on students
academic performance in Ekiti state secondary schools. The sample of the study consisted of forty
(40) secondary schools. Four (4) Government colleges (State Unity colleges) were purposively
