Aquinas Cosmological Argument Essay
Aquinas Cosmological Argument is a method for proving God s existence and its foundation is
based on the fact and observation that the universe exists. Aquinas states that in order for the
universe to exist (an idea that we know to be true), there must also exist a cause that caused the
existence of the universe. He concludes his argument by saying that God, an unperceivable image,
is the cause of the universe, which further verifies His existence. This argument proves that in order
to accept the factual, former claim that the universe exists, it is necessary to accept the latter claim
that God exists as well.
Anselm s motto, Faith Seeking Understanding, has to do with the search for a deeper knowledge
of God and asserts the idea that faith in Him comes before understanding God in His entirety.
Anselm claims that we don t have to understand God in order to have faith or belief in Him.
Rather, Anselm says that in order to understand God, we should first develop that faith and belief,
which ultimately allows us to comprehend God.

Theology, on the other hand, obtains knowledge and truths based on both reason and on revealed
truth and faith. As a result, Aquinas saw philosophy as a subset of theology because theology deals
with both reason and revelation to obtain knowledge, while theology only uses reason. In a similar
light, Aquinas also believed that all theologians are philosophers, but he did not see all philosophers
as theologians. Consequently, Aquinas saw theology as superior to philosophy because of theology
s unlimited potential and means of acquiring truths/knowledge; in other words, theology
encompasses subjects that reason, or philosophical studies, cannot

Amy Chua s Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior Essay
Reading Amy Chua s Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior was a bit difficult. I had to stop
myself from having multiple outburst because of what she has wrote. Amy s argument that
Chinese mothers are better parents, is questionable because it assumes that other parents don t
know who to raise their own children. I believe my parents raised us just fine, my siblings and I
pushing for degrees is proof enough. Amy Chua was strict with her kids, believing that having
fun and being a kid is a unnecessary distraction. That s great kudos to her for keeping her kids
focused but there is a flaw in that. Amy took her kids freedom away. Her daughters weren t able to
enjoy the simple thingslike going to a sleepover or playing with friends. They didn t seem to have
a choice when it came to academics either. In my own experience I had a choice. I was able to
peruse distractions or study and better myself. My parents always told me I would either reap the
rewards or suffer the consequences of my action in that respect. They always supported me even if
I chose an academic subjectthey didn t like. Amy can argue that having a choice is a flaw but at
least I have one. Amy can also argue that she has set her kids up to succeed in life, but so have
countless lesser western parents . Her method might be great but to say that one race is better than
another is borderline arrogant. She should never assume that because she s making an ass out of
her and me. I disagree with Chua s view that

Life In A City Is Better Than Living In The City
Kimi иѓЎеЉј No. 0210650 12/30/10 Persuasive Essay (Revised) Life in Cities is of More Quality
in China In recent years, people have paid close attention to the quality of daily life a lot, and
one of the most heated debating topics is whether people should choose to live in the city or in
the countryside in China. There are millions of peasants living in rural areas, but a large number
of them are rushing into urban areas to get a job every year. People living in the countryside are
anxious to begin their urban life, meanwhile people in cities prefer to live a peaceful life far away
from town. As for me, in China, living in the cityis much better than living in the countryside in
that citizens would surely live a more convenient life, have more choices in every aspect of life
and would also achieve a sense of accomplishment in their enriching life. Since some areas of
countryside in China are still in poor situation, cities offer people a more comfortable and
convenient life. In some suburban regions, it is troublesome to go out, but the transportation
system in almost every city in China is quite developed now. Citizens could choose different
vehicles as they wish in cities, such as car, bus, metro and even high speed railway. People living
in Wuhan in central region of China could reach Guangzhou in South China by high speed rail
within several hours, in which period people living in rural areas may just get to town from
home. In cities, people could enjoy the door to door transport service easily meanwhile going
out is quite an inconvenient action for many people living in suburban in China. This sort of
obvious contrast can be seen by everybody. Besides the aspect of transportation, there are more
plentiful living facilities in cities than in the countryside. As a whole, the infrastructure in most
cities in China is of high quality. The systems of medical treatment, health care, physical
training, etc are available for citizens to make use of to keep their life quality in a high level.
Once citizens have a problem in daily life, there are often corresponding ways for them to solve it.
While in the most areas of countryside in China, there is still even a lack of medical security now.

The Visit by Friedrich DГјrrenmatt
The Visit, originally published in 1986, is a play written by Friedrich DГјrrenmatt. DГјrrenmatt s
play is set in GГјllen, an industrial town on the decline that has found itself in troublesome times.
When the world s richest woman makes an undeniable offer, it becomes clear that the town s
economy will be saved, but only at an unthinkable cost. As the play unfolds, the rise and fall of the
town and each of its citizens becomes evident. DГјrrenmatt, a 20th century Swiss playwright, is
well known for the thorough development of characters in his works; in his tragicomedy, The
Visit, he employs the use of character development to illustrate the rise and fall of his two main
characters, Alfred Ill and Claire Zachanassian, as they progress from adolescence to adulthood.
In their adolescence, both Ill and Claire are presumably happy, as they are head over heels in love
with each other. The two are practically inseparable, constantly running off to the woods or
Peterson s Barn. Unfortunately, this all takes a drastic turn when Claire becomes pregnant and
charges Ill with a paternity suit. As an adolescent, not only is Claire charitable , but she also loves
justice, which is why she considers it a complete betrayal when Ill denies that the baby is his
(DГјrrenmatt 6). When she loses the paternity suit, the town essentially turns against her and
banishes a pregnant Claire. She transitions from a relatively high point in her life to being
banished, which can be seen as the beginning of

Abundance Of Facilities For Outdoor Recreation And Leisure...
INTRODUCTION
This report examines the demographics of Ladera Ranch, California, analyzing population data to
prove that the community of Ladera Ranch is a good location to open a business. Based on this
data, the report will recommend the type of business that is best suited for the community. Ladera
Ranch is a census designated place located in south Orange County, California ( Ladera Ranch ,
2012); nearby cities include Mission Viejo, San Juan Capistrano, and Rancho Santa Margarita.
Construction of Ladera Ranch began in 1999 with the goal of creating a community where
residents enjoy recreational parks, clubhouses, shopping, and outdoor trails for joggers, hikers and
bikers ( City Guide , 2014). The research compiled confirms that Ladera Ranch has an abundance of
facilities for outdoor recreation and leisure activities. However, based on its demographics, Ladera
Ranch residents would also benefit from having a local indoor Family Entertainment Center to
complement its existing infrastructure.
A team of five students from the BUAD 301 class at California State University, Fullerton
collaborated to gather data from a variety of resources for this report, analyze this data, and provide
recommendations for a future business venture. Sources such as the United States Census Bureau
were used to obtain demographic information for Ladera Ranch. All sources have been listed on the
reference page at the end of this report.

IPV4
Internet Protocol version 4 (IPv4) is the fourth version of the Internet Protocol (IP) and it is only
protocol widely used for the communication purpose in the computer networks and it works in
the Internet layer of the OSI reference model. The IPv4 address is 32 bits long. The 32 bit is
divided into four groups. Each group has the eight bits which forms as an octet. Each IP address has
two parts called the network id and the host id. This IP address is used as a unique identification
address for the hosts in the networks. Network ID also known as network address used to identify
the network from the large internetwork. All the computers in the same network will have the
same network ID. Host ID is also known as host address used to identify the host in the same
network. There are five classes of IPv4 address. They are Class A, Class B, Class C, Class D and
Class E. Class A, Class B and Class C are most commonly used, Class D is multicast and Class E
is for the research and the development purpose. These classes of IP addresses are used in different
location based on the network infrastructure.
The first octet in the class A IP address belong to the network part and the remaining three octets
represents the host part of the IP address. Class A can be written as N.H.H.H, N refers the
network identifier and the H refers the host identifier, The number of available hosts is 16,77,214

Artificial Heart
Coronary heart disease, one of the most pervasive diseases, has influenced millions of individuals
around the globe. In 1995, 4000 patients waited for donor hearts and 731 of them died waiting
(ijates). As the number of patients suffering from heart disease increased, the demand for donor
hearts increased along with it. For this reason, it has brought biomedical engineers and researchers
closer to developing devices like defibrillators and artificial hearts that may alleviate patients pain.
Artificial hearttransplant machines are now reliable treatment options for heart failure. These
machines are utilized as a substitute until a donor organcan be found. Statistics show that this
method has resulted in an improvement of survival rate of 80% (Martin Struber). Although artificial
hearts are costly and potentially life threatening, it is conceivable that these machines may have a
more prominent part to play as their expenses diminish and technological improvements expand

The design of these hearts is close to the structure of the natural heart. The heart that humans carry
has two pumps and four chambers. The right atrium gathers oxygen drained blood and pumps it to
the lungs. The left atrium receives oxygen rich blood from the lungs to and pumps this blood out of
the body. The valves function is to control the blood flow (Raghunandan Avula). On the other hand,
artificial heart has three subsystems placed under the skin. These subsystems are the heart pump, a
pump controller, and a power source. The battery of the heart is charged with a special magnetic
charger. Energy from the external charger is transferred to internal battery through an energy

An Analysis of Plunkitt of Tammany Hall William Bryce History 1302 Austin Community
College November 30, 2011 The purpose of this book report is to analyze the themes in Plunkitt
of Tammany Hall by William L. Riordon. Riordon s purpose is to educate people about politics
and to stimulate reform in their corrupt political system. The first theme of this book is Plunkitt s
use of patronage. He openly discusses quid pro quo: he gives people jobs, opportunities, and
welfare services in exchange for their political allegiance. For example, he talks about giving
young men opportunities to play in the baseball club or sing in the glee club. In exchange, they
vote the way he tells them to. Plunkitt also supports his voters in other... Show more content on

instead of competing with them he offered to give them the granite they needed as long as they

stones for the absurd price of $2.50.3 Although he was making a lot of money from his schemes
he was careful to not look rich. Above all things, he explains avoid a dress suit. You have no idea
of the harm that dress suits have done in politics. He goes on to say that he was once accused of
buying a $10,000 automobile and a $125 dress suit right before an election and that he suffered
badly at the polls for it. The people wouldn t have minded much if I had been accused of robbin
the city treasury... but the automobile and the dress suit were too much for them. 3 Plunkitt also
presents an anti elite education worldview. In the book he explains how to become a politician
and he says that going to college detracts from your political ability, that scholars can t possibly
become effective politicians. Plunkitt maintains that a person who goes through college is
handicapped and that the odds against him succeeding are 100 to 1. He also claims that civil
service reform is a curse, that giving people qualification examinations is a travesty that will destroy
patriotism and cultivate anarchy. He admits that he only went to school for three winters and that

The Faroese only perform the yearly hunt, or grindadrap, if all of their conditions are met. In a
National Geographic article by Jane Lee in 2014, the grind only happens if the animals are close
to shore, and this has to occur on one of their 23 pre approved beaches. The weather and waves
have to be calm enough and there have to be enough participants. None of the species that the
Faroese target are endangered and they try to cut through the neck and break the spinal cord so that
death occurs quickly. While tribes such as the Faroese adhere to these unspoken rules on ethics,
there are Japanese groups that do not adhere to these ethics and want to take advantage of the
subsistence whaling plan. The Japanese largely do not perform the hunts on a small, aboriginal scale
anymore, but have industrialized the whole process and simply wish to be granted higher quotes to
hunt more whales. This brings into focus the ethics of the hunts. In an essay by Paul Watson,
cetaceans are extremely intelligent creatures that share much more similarities with humans than
previously thought (2014). Whales have highly developed brains, are able to show a variety of
behaviors that can be associated with certain emotions, can discriminate humans from prey or other
sea creatures, and exist in highly developed social circles. They share more similarities with humans
than previously thought and deserved to be treated with this regard in mind. While some aboriginal

able to recount the story without much trouble, as these are simple stories with entertaining

not animated like Cinderella, or Sleeping Beauty. These stories are even referenced in television

There, for the first time, is a proclamation divinity of Rama, where Mandodari in deep sorrow over
the death of Ravana, her husband, exclaims that it is Narayana that has come as Nara which in fact
is unknown to Ravana and due to his ignorance, he has mistaken Rama for a human being. The
contradiction that Valmikibrings out is that while he puts these words in the mouth of
Mandodari, he puts a different type of statement in the mouth of Rama himself. When the whole
theme is over, the drama has been played, Brahma comes and speaks to Rama, Thou art Lord
Narayana, Thy play in this world is over, and we seek Thy entry back into Vaikuntha. And Rama
says in reply: What are you speaking? I do not know anything. Am I Narayana! I think I am only
a man Atmanam Manusham Manye. Whatever you may think or speak about me, I think I am a
man, I am a human being. These are the words of Rama himself. While Rama himself is thinking
that he is only a man, Brahma speaks of Him as Narayana and wants Him to go back to His
Abode, as His drama in this world is over. These interesting dramatic contradictions are brought
into play by the genius of Valmiki, deliberately to fulfill the purpose of the Epic. Otherwise, there
would be no meaning in the play itself.
It was not at all given to Rama to proclaim himself as Narayana. That was not the purpose of the

Ophelia is taught not to depend on her own decisions because she does not know any other way
without Polonius s guidance. Without even realizing it Ophelia, is powerless and has no control
over her life. She is solely dependent on her father. Ophelia is also inferior and powerless when
it comes to her brother, Laertes. Just like her father, Laertes has all the control over Ophelia.
When Ophelia recognizes an unusual difference in Hamlet, she turns toward her brother, to ask
for his outlook on Hamlet s love. He responds by saying, For Hamlet and the trifling of his
favour,/ Hold it a fashion and a toy in blood,/ [...] The perfume and suppliance of a minute; No

self and other between considering themselves primary or perceiving themselves as other in a
patriarchal world where men and men s values dominate (Dash 128). Ophelia never had a mother
figure to look up to, so she spends most of her time obeying the authoritative brother in her life.
Shakespeare exaggerates this as Ophelia struggles to find herself while her brother destroys her
privileges. She is a woman that is being forced to live in word that is dominated by men.

Zynga s Mission At A Young Age
Zynga s mission is to connect the world through games. Connecting with friends and making new
friends through our games or services involves sharing information, (Zynga Team).
Although Zynga has a well planned mission, the problem is that there are not many people who
know how to create these video games. Zynga can create a non profit branch within their
organization; this is where it would be beneficial if Zynga partners with MassChallenge. Since
there is a high demand for students to learn computer science, students should start learning at a
young age. Zynga could create a nonprofit that partners with middle schools and high schools.
Although there is already a core curriculum for students to learn, Zynga can create an after school
computer science program for students to take if they are interested in it. This will be beneficial in
the long run because there will be many students learning how to code. Students who are accepted
into the Zynga program since middle can learn to code until they reach high school. After students
make it to high school and choose to continue learning computer science, Zynga can offer these
students the opportunity to work in the Zynga office as interns. This way students can see the
benefits of working for Zynga in the long run. Masschallenge can help Zynga create this by helping
Zynga implement this program within many potential schools. Americans believe computer science
should be taught between kindergarten and the 12th grade.

Creationism in Public School Science Class Essay

There are many things wrong with Ken Ham s argument, but one thing is true,

that they are, because it is extremely important that they be anti Christian, Muslim,

Personality Assessment of Jackie Robinson Essay
Personality Assessment of Jackie Robinson
Every individual in our society is different; each person is known or described differently from one
another. The Big Five Factors: neuroticism, extraversion, openness to experience, agreeableness,
and conscientiousness, are thought to describe and outline personality in all cultures and language
families. They characterize the differences in humankind and can be used to predict or explain job
performance. Jackie Robinson was a man who I would describe as having a strong and persevering
personality. He grew up at a time when racial tensions were at their worst, and yet, managed to
succeed and follow through with everything he faced. At times he was forced to suck it up, although

with guts enough not to fight back (78). Robinson demonstrated the opposite of impulsiveness in
almost all of his actions. Over time, he had learned how to exercise self control to answer insults,
violence, and injustice with silence and had learned how to earn the respect of (his) teammates
(81). Jackie Robinson s score for extraversion was a 78, meaning that although he was extraverted,
at times he demonstrated some introverted traits. Although he was a friendly individual, Robinson,
in many situations, was forced to keep to himself. In addition, he liked to take it easy whenever
possible, gearing up for whatever was to come his way. He also, however, had some extraverted
traits, including the fact that from the time he started school, he was always active, whether it be in
sports, or working with the First African AmericanBank or the NAACP. He was a true leader with
the First African American Bank and the NAACP, speaking in front of many people, and being
aggressive enough to accomplish what was needed. Robinson constantly demonstrated attempts to
be gregarious and to be recognized by others. Although he remembers standing alone at first base
the only black man on the field, he fought hard to become just another guy . Jackie Robinson never
quit because things went the wrong way. If anything, hardships forced him to work harder at
succeeding. When he went on into the business world, he always strove to learn as much

Prejudice In The Celluloid Closet
Ghazal Al Awad
Hollywood s Prejudice A controversial issue these days is over Hollywood s negative depictions
of homosexuality. Such portrayals were so focused on silencing queer people and basically
putting their emotions in the closet. A documentary The Celluloid Closet, which is based on The
Celluloid Closet book by Vito Russo, analyzes the representation of gays and lesbians in
Hollywood films from the 1890s to the 1980s. The Celluloid Closet argues that Hollywood s
portrayal of gays and lesbians has often been harsh and homophobic, which led gays and lesbians
characters to be defined by their sexuality, lacking any character development throughout the plot.
According to the documentary, from the 1890s to the 1930s, homosexuality has been portrayed as a
source for ridicule and laughter. That period of time represented the archetype the sissy; however,
the sissy did not pose a threat on the representation of homosexuality because the sissy were

The popularity of shows such as Will Grace; La vie, la vie...; and Queer Eye for the Straight Guy
demonstrates that networks are willing to feature queer characters as long as the shows draw high
ratings and generate profits for advertisers ( Queer Representation ). According to the U.S. gay

only 17 of the 102 movies from major studios in 2013 featured lesbian, gay, bisexual and
transgender characters and, of those 17, the majority were offensive and defamatory portrayals.
GLAAD have found the Vito Russo Test. To pass the Vito Russo Test, a film must feature an LGBT

who, if removed from the film, would significantly affect the plot. However, only seven out of the
17 films that portrayed LGBTQ characters were able to pass

Bravo Arts Academy Target Market
To start I would like to cover how Bravo Arts Academy defines their Segmenting, Targeting, and
positioning. Alli Barnes, the marketing director at Bravo, gave me a very detailed description of
the current state of Bravo Arts Academy s IMC plan. To start off Alli described Bravo s target
/segment as northern Utah and families. I believe that to go into further detail to more accurately
describe Bravo s current target and segmentation you should look at the locations of all three
academy locations. All the buildings are located in demographic areas where the dominant
demographics are Middleburg which are families that are at a middle class income, typically have
children, relatively young, family oriented, and are typically have freedom in their budgets. Also,

There are few things that I believe that they could improve on being that Bravo is an all ages
academy you would think that we would have students of all ages. Unfortunately, I do not believe
that Bravo is zeroing in on getting the maximum potential of their demographic target. The vast
majority of our students are between six and seventeen years old. I have personally had a few
adults students from 18 all the way to 70 years old. From my experience I do not believe that adults
do not want to take lessons; I believe that they are simply unaware of the fact that adults can take
lessons. In addition I believe that marketing communications could be refined to target the females
of the targeted demographics. Generally the women of the household are the parent that determines
the extracurricular activities. I believe that marketing communications directed at gaining new child

Facebook in a Crowd Analysis Essay
Facebook in a Crowd by Hal Niedzviecki In the article, titled Facebook in a Crowd Hal Niedzviecki

year old at home, was a workaholic, and liked being left alone. He had very few real friends. So he

Facebook is just a tool and having a lot of friends or the ability to start a group doesn t
necessarily mean that you will be successful in really connecting people to your company. I have
many Facebook friends. Some are past and present students from high school and college,
friends from camp, church, and some are coworkers past and present. I have also made many
new friends and met in real life for lunch or starbucks several times. For me, Facebook works as
an easy way to build new networking friendships and invest in the friendships you already have.
Are all of our Facebook friends actually our friends? It s socially clumsy to think that they are.
But that is okay. Networking and online friendships have their own rewards. A few of the
friends I have met on Facebook have become very good friends. While I may never meet all of
them in person, I am very grateful for them. With the busyness of our lives, Facebook helps me
to keep up my friendships. If you re considering Facebook as part of your social media strategy,
consider Hal s experience one more time. Perhaps take pause and reach out to your friends instead
and ask them where they d like to connect with you. By doing so you might just save yourself that

Meno And Socrates Socratic Paradox
In Plato s work The Meno , a socratic dialogue attempting to define virtue, chapters 77b 79e outline
the Socratic Paradox, which focuses on the question of whether or not one can desire bad things.
Plato outlines this through a dialogue between his character Meno and Socrates. The Socratic
Paradox claims that no one desires bad things, i.e. no one desires things that are bad for them.
Socrates claimed that to possess bad things would leave someone miserable and unhappy. One that
desires bad things simply desires them because they think they are good. There are some
implications to this claim. If Plato is correct that we cannot knowingly do something that harms us,
or that we cannot do an action knowing that it will harm us in the long term, ... Show more content

Scott offers a modern example to support this. Suppose someone is on a certain kind of
medication that requires them to not drink alcohol otherwise the medication will not work and
they will be in great pain. They are completely aware of this and know that if they drink they will
be miserable and wretched . Meno thinks it is quite possible for a person to want to drink
regardless of this knowledge. Socrates would be determined to argue that if you know something
is bad overall you cannot desire it. Although I see the conclusion Scott is trying to point to, I feel
that his example is fairly weak as one could interpret Socrates as saying that someone who is
completely rational cannot desire things that are bad for them. However I would claim that even
this can be counteracted: surely even the most intelligent and rational people can want to drink and
smoke? Therefore, I would claim that what Plato is trying to point out in the Meno is somewhat
simplistic and needs to be looked at

Why Is It Always Wrong To Prove Anything Upon Insufficient...
SYNOPSIS In this essay, I will criticize W.K. Clifford s main claim that it is always wrong,
everywhere, and for anyone, to believe anything upon insufficient evidence. I will prove it is not
wrong to form a belief without sufficient evidence, by engaging with ineffability. In the first section,
I will begin by presenting Clifford s main argumentfor why it is always wrong to believe anything
upon insufficient evidence. In the second section, I will define and explain The Representation
Principle. Since Clifford does not clearly define what constitutes sufficient evidence, I will employ
The Representation Principle as one requirement for sufficient evidence. The Representation
Principle states: it is impossible to acquire sufficient evidence if someone is unable to fully
represent all of the relevant information. In the third section, I will present my argument for
refraining from forming beliefs, also referenced as The RFB Argument. I conclude that in some
cases it is wrong for human beings... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ...
Clifford presents a case involving an individual holding a belief upon insufficient evidence. He
describes a ship owner who sincerely believes in the soundness of his ship when he sends it on a
journey, holding a great number of people aboard. However, he acquired his belief in the soundness
of the ship by stifling his doubts about the flaws of the boat, rather than by honestly seeking the
truth. Clifford claims the ship owner is wrong in holding his belief, since he did not form his
belief on sufficient evidence. Regardless of the outcome of the ship s journey, the ship owner
believed wrongly. Clifford s argument can be presented as follows: 1. In the ship owner case, the
ship owner believed wrongly. 2. If the ship owner believed wrongly, then it is always wrong,
everywhere, and for anyone, to believe anything upon insufficient evidence. C. So, It is always
wrong, everywhere, and for anyone, to believe anything upon insufficient

Illegal Immigration In The United States Essay
National Issues Paper: Illegal Immigration
There are more than 10 million illegal immigrants living in the United Sates, and each day that
number is increasing by 1,400 illegal aliens. An illegal immigrant is a foreigner who either
illegally crossed an international political border, whether it was by land, sea or air, or whether
it be a foreigner who legally entered a country but nevertheless overstayed their visa in order to
live and/or work there. The two focal attractions that the illegal immigrants perceive in the U.S are
superior job opportunities, and better living for their families. Several businesses in our Nation are

In addition, several immigrants are demoralized and countless others die in their struggles to cross
the border. Various border patrolmen have not only had the need to kill, but have been killed. The
borders are clearly unsafe, and with approximately 1,400 immigrants crossing it everyday the U.S
is very vulnerable to being in great danger and when the borders are vulnerable, the entire nation is
vulnerable. If the borders were more secure, then the number of illegal immigrants sneaking into the
country would reduce which would reduce many of the other issues that illegal immigrants cause.
To stop the immigration issues, the nation must stop those issues at its core, being the borders.
When the borders are taken care of, the issues that come along with them will also be taken care
of. Not only do illegal immigrants crossing the border cause border control issues, but they also
cause critical national security issues by jeopardizing the safety of the US citizens. For
example, in September of 2007, forty one illegal immigrants with gang ties to the Mexican
Mafia, Sureno 13, and the Latin Kings were detained for severe crimes in Northwest Arkansas. A
number of of the gang members had been previously deported, however, crossed the border
illegally yet again. If a drastic number of deported immigrants are able to cross the border more
than once, it is only a matter of time until a terrorist comes along and does a great amount of

The Importance Of Authoritarian Government In South Korea
Within the last few decades, the internal affairs in South Korea have been anything but smooth. The
public demand for a democratic future is prevalent, but it is unquestionable that the authoritarian
leaders and government have had a larger impact that any democratic ones. The strong hand of
leaders like Syngman Rheeand Park Chung hee allowed South Koreato persevere through difficult
times and explode onto the international market. The measures leaders in the 60s, 70s, and 80s
took to get Korea to the position of wealth it reached have had some dire consequences that are still
felt today. There is no sign of stopping either, as the country has been preoccupied with many other
issues and has had democracy thrust upon them, leaving many flaws in the system. The power
vacuums, unbalanced social structure, and violent riots have been constant effects brought on by
the rise and fall of South Korea s authoritarian past. This instability and volatile nature of modern
South Korean government and society is the most well defined and over arching theme caused by
authoritarian policies and decisions
Shorty after Korea declared its independence Syngman Rhee was elected their first president by a
wide margin. However, once he began creating legislation to extend his presidency and silencing his
opposition, it was clear that his rule would be an authoritarian one. After the April Revolution, a
clear precedent was set for government civilian interaction in Korea. struggle between

Should Police Officers Wear Body Cameras Essay
Police officers are the people who protect the community. Lately we had a couple pf incidents
with police officers and citizens. Many citizens are now freighted by police officers. We have some
citizens who do attacks against police officers, causing the loss of innocent lives. Police officers
should be required to wear body cameras because the videos could be used for evidence at trial, and
policeofficers can look back at the videos to evaluate themselves. One reason police officers should
wear body cameras is to be able to use the videos as evidence. Many cases cannot be resolve due to
lack of evidence and the death of citizens in the hands of police officers. Lately we had many

Some opponents believe body cameras are too expensive and it creates financial problems to the
police department. As a community everyone should volunteer to buy the body cameras for
police officers. In addition, some people believe that the files will not have a way to store to keep
for evidence. Technology is very advance now police can transfer files immediately to a USB
device if they need more storage on their camera. Body cameras will save many peoples life s
including police officers. Although others are in favor of body cameras, they will save a lot of
innocent lives, including the citizens, and police officers.

Family Should Be Best Friends
I have always been told that the siblings or sibling in a family should be best friends. As I was
growing up with an older brother, things were not always like that in my house. It was hard for
me to see my friends hanging out and going to lunch with their older siblings because I never
had that relationship with my older brother, Zack. Zack was different. He had a lot going on
with his life so when he wouldn t talk to me or blow me off, I would just shake it off and pretend
that eventually he would become that fun, older brother we all see in movies. Then I finally
realized, nothing would change. I was devastated to never have that relationship with my
brother because I didn t understand why he never wanted to be with me. What have I done
wrong? Am I really that annoying as a little sister? That was until my mother informed on what
was going on with Zack. He had severe social and anger issues which caused him to be jealous of
me because of all my friends that I had, leading him to be mean and angry with me all the time
because of his anger issues. I felt awful for my poor big brother. He doesn t deserve this, I would
think to myself at night. These thoughts and feelings went on until the summer of 2015, when
everything changed. In the period of time from when I pretended like nothing was wrong with
my brother to when I found out, I focused a lot on my friends. I made so many close friends who I
considered to be siblings more than Zack. It was like I had 15 unrelated

This question has been central to comparative political economy for many years. However, most
answers to it focus on institutions in a single sphere of the political economy. In economics, there
are large but separate literatures on labor and financial markets. One explores the impact of labor
regulations, social regimes, and trade unions on growth or unemployment (Nickell 1997; OECD
1994; Calmfors/ Driffil 1988). The other considers the effects of accounting standards, the legal
standing of owners or creditors, ownership patterns, and equity or bank based finance on levels of
investment or growth (Carlin/Mayer 1999a, 1999b; LaPorta et al. 1998a; Huang/Xu 1999; Mayer
1996). A similar separation is evident in political science. Although neocorporatism can be defined
in broad terms (cf. Katzenstein 1985; Schmitter/Lehmbruch 1978), analyses of its economic impact
usually focus on the organization of the trade union movement, considering its interaction mainly
with the partisanship of governance (Cameron 1984; Alvarez et al. 1991; Garrett 1999).1 An
entirely different literature examines the structure of financial systems (Verdier 2000; Cox 1986;
Zysman 1984).2 However, there are good reasons to expect interaction effects among institutions
across spheres of the political economy. In recent years, significant interaction effects have been
found between monetary institutions and those governing

The Effects Of Sexual Arousal On Mental Disorders
A paraphilia is known as a medical category which medical doctors created in the 1920s to
describe abnormal sexual arousal to individuals, objects, or situations that are not considered
normal or typical behavior in a community and causes personal distress or serious problems.
Quinsey (2011) noted that the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders includes
paraphilias as mental disorders. He stated that this is because they are known to include a
behavioral or psychological dysfunction which can create significant distress or disability. He
explains a primary feature in most paraphilias is that the sexual behaviors most often involve a
person who did not consent to the specific behavior. This is especially true in exhibitionism,
frotteurism, and voyeurism. According to Kafka and Hennen (2002), The most common types of
paraphilias are exhibitionism (exposing ones genitals to an unexpected person or performing
sexual acts that can be watched by others) voyeurism (urges to observe an unsuspecting person
who is naked, disrobing, or engaging in sexual activates, or in activates usually considered to be a
private nature), pedophilia (sexual preference for prepubescent children or engaging in child sexual
abuse), sexual masochism (wanting to be humiliated, beaten, bound, or otherwise made to suffer for
sexual pleasure) sadism (in which the pain or humiliation of a person is sexually exciting),

Guilt In The Secret, By Moravia And Dagerman
Guilt is feeling anger, disappointment and/or shame to an individual for something they have done
accidentally or purposely. OneВґs conscience haunts and eat them from inside out for the rest of
their lives. Stefan Zweig, a novelist and a journalist, once said that ВЁno guilt is forgotten so
long as the conscience still knows of it. This quote reflects to two short stories, ВЁThe SecretВЁ
and ВЁTo Kill A ChildВЁ where its characters made wrong choices that ends up to tragedy they
would never be able to forget for it is in their guilty conscience. Trying to forget and not listen to

When first assigned this final project, two choreographers immediately fled into my mind: Ohad

Doing cutting edge research work at leading universities paints a full image of my dream.
Conducting leading edge academic research to advance business knowledge as a learned scholar
has always appealed to me much more than conducting operating strategies to maximize corporate
value as a chief officer. For me, nothing can compared with the eagerness to discover new things,
the rapture of acquiring much knowledge, the satisfaction after intellectual interactions. To fulfill

foundation to help me get ahead. I believe that the Ph.D. program in Business Administration (with
concentration in Finance) would be invaluable in helping me meet my long term goal.
My desire to become a researcher stems from both my personality and my experience. Born in a
family full of educators, I value knowledge more than wealth. Intelligence is the main asset in my
family both my parents devote themselves in research and teaching as professors in universities,
though they have different specialty. Asking questions constantly and searching for answers are

What Does It Mean To Be A Leader

changed and the projects are cancelled or be unsuccessful, but leaders should be there to continue
handling the situations. So, I focused on learning how to take my leadership position and
requirements from a general to specific one which can be also changeable, depending on the

The World s Best Quality Shipping Port
More than 2,000 years ago, the Western Han Dynasty in ancient China was prosperous and
people wanted to expand to the west side of the county. The king sent one of his diplomat along
with about 130 people to explore the west side of the country. They went as far as the middle east
and the road later on was named Silk Road, which represents that during that time, Chinese would
carry their silk and trade with other countries. This road was not only famous for its history but also
famous for its culture. It was the very first road that connected ancient China with other countries
and it was the first time cultures were introduced to one another. (Silk Road, 2017)

s economy is vastly growing and it hit the world s second largest economy. China now is a market

wealth comes from trade that it even has a nickname of the world s factory . From t shirts to oil
and coal, China s vast natural resources and government support in economy turned impossible into
possible. Cheap labor cost as one of the factors that draw attention to international companies. In
recent years, technology has become one of the biggest impact to China s society. (Huijiong Yan,
2012)
Figure 1.2. Source from World Shipping Council.
With all the advanced developments and fast growing economy, China has realized the importance
of ports and now with the government s support, it is building a hub port city. Generally, a hub
port is an international shipping port that has the ability to distribute goods after they are arrived in
port either through ocean, river or trains. For example, Shanghai is one of the major cities in China
that has the biggest financial, trade and industrial center. However, it wasn t until 1990 that Pudong

Explain The Major Processes That Occur During The Prenatal...
The five major processes that occur during the prenatal and postnatal periods of human
development Proliferation, Migration, Differentiation, Myelination and Synaptogensis. Each stage
relies on the properly assembly of neuronal connections to assure a fully functioning organism.
Proliferation is the initial stage, activated during unification period of sperm and egg. This is
where new cells begin to divide, first forming brain cells. These brain celloriginate from stem cells,
which can be specialized into nearly any cell in the human body. Once the proliferation process is
underway, which research suggests is less than first after conception, the cells divide
uncontrollably. At over two hundred thousand cells per minute, they do not stop... Show more

This stage is the differentiation period. Here, the cells are assigned unique characteristics of
structural, biochemical and physiological properties all before the birth. Even the glial cells now
become specialized and develop into astrocytes and oligodendrocytes. These cells are extremely
important in the next stage of myelination. Myelination is the stage of neuronal development that is
initiated postnatally. After the baby is born the newly specialized glia cells begin constructing the
fatty sheath around the axon, need for the speed and effectiveness of the neural transmission
between all the neurons in the brain. Oligodendrocytes are responsible for the myelin produced in
the central nervous system. It commences first around the spinal, ascending from the hindbrain
structures to the forebrain. This process continues gradually for decades, until the brain is fully
developed. Synaptogenesis is the final stage of neural development. Neurons in this stage must
establish the necessary connections for proper functioning. Connections made early, that are
frequently called upon are likely to remain strong the the reminder of a child s life while weaker
connections die when they are not made or

Magical Thinking In North America
Though, it may sound like an oxymoron, there is much science behind magic, and how the human
brain interprets and interacts with magic and magical thought. Research has been conducted
extensively on why humans may resort to magical thinking. A study that was conducted by Giora
Keinan, a professor at Tel Aviv University, demonstrates when and why people use magical
thinking. To test for magical think Keinan sent questionnaires to 174 Israelis after the Iraqi Scud
missile attacks of the 1991 gulf war (Carey, Benedict 1) and what he found was those who
reported the highest level of stress were also the most likely to endorse magical beliefs. (Carey,
Benedict 1) In the context of Russiathis makes sense as well as often the less developed... Show

At first, these cultures may seem extremely isolated from one another, so magical thinking
would thought to be very different, but this is not true. Much Native Russian people and native
American people have quite similar DNA. This is due to the migration of Russians across the
Bering Strait into what is today the United States and Canada. In doing so, many Native Russian
beliefs and ways of life were brought over and manifested in similar but different forms among
tribes that are based in North America. Scientist have found conclusive DNA evidence to prove
the close relation between Native Russians of the Siberian region and Native Americans. To do
this, scientist examined 25,000 samples of DNA from Russian Natives and the nationalities of
peoples in neighboring countries. After this they searched for specific DNA markers such as the Y
chromosome and the Mitochondrial DNA, along with other chromosomes, in doing so the scientists
concluded that many people of Siberian descent and many individuals of Native American descent
shared many common ancestors. (Ter Ghazaryan, Aram, 1) The history of how people of Siberian
descent migrated to North America is also well known. Approximately 30,000 years ago, during the
ice age, what today is the Bering Strait, was then a land bridge, bridging the continents of Asia and
North America together, through a giant mass of ice. During this period, many people migrated
across the land bridge from Siberia into modern day Alaska. (Ter Ghazaryan, Aram,1) Eventually,
overtime the people of Siberia settled in North America and spread throughout the continent. Here
Native American culture and tradition formed, and while different in many aspects to that of their
Siberian ancestors, some practices carried on and manifested in different forms among

  • 2. Aquinas Cosmological Argument Essay Aquinas Cosmological Argument is a method for proving God s existence and its foundation is based on the fact and observation that the universe exists. Aquinas states that in order for the universe to exist (an idea that we know to be true), there must also exist a cause that caused the existence of the universe. He concludes his argument by saying that God, an unperceivable image, is the cause of the universe, which further verifies His existence. This argument proves that in order to accept the factual, former claim that the universe exists, it is necessary to accept the latter claim that God exists as well. Anselm s motto, Faith Seeking Understanding, has to do with the search for a deeper knowledge of God and asserts the idea that faith in Him comes before understanding God in His entirety. Anselm claims that we don t have to understand God in order to have faith or belief in Him. • 3. Amy Chua s Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior Essay Reading Amy Chua s Why Chinese Mothers Are Superior was a bit difficult. I had to stop myself from having multiple outburst because of what she has wrote. Amy s argument that Chinese mothers are better parents, is questionable because it assumes that other parents don t know who to raise their own children. I believe my parents raised us just fine, my siblings and I pushing for degrees is proof enough. Amy Chua was strict with her kids, believing that having fun and being a kid is a unnecessary distraction. That s great kudos to her for keeping her kids focused but there is a flaw in that. Amy took her kids freedom away. Her daughters weren t able to enjoy the simple thingslike going to a sleepover or playing with friends. They didn t seem to have a choice when it came to academics either. In my own experience I had a choice. I was able to peruse distractions or study and better myself. My parents always told me I would either reap the rewards or suffer the consequences of my action in that respect. They always supported me even if I chose an academic subjectthey didn t like. Amy can argue that having a choice is a flaw but at least I have one. Amy can also argue that she has set her kids up to succeed in life, but so have countless lesser western parents . Her method might be great but to say that one race is better than another is borderline arrogant. She should never assume that because she s making an ass out of her and me. • 5. Life In A City Is Better Than Living In The City Kimi иѓЎеЉј No. 0210650 12/30/10 Persuasive Essay (Revised) Life in Cities is of More Quality in China In recent years, people have paid close attention to the quality of daily life a lot, and one of the most heated debating topics is whether people should choose to live in the city or in the countryside in China. There are millions of peasants living in rural areas, but a large number of them are rushing into urban areas to get a job every year. People living in the countryside are anxious to begin their urban life, meanwhile people in cities prefer to live a peaceful life far away from town. As for me, in China, living in the cityis much better than living in the countryside in that citizens would surely live a more convenient life, have more choices in every aspect of life and would also achieve a sense of accomplishment in their enriching life. Since some areas of countryside in China are still in poor situation, cities offer people a more comfortable and convenient life. In some suburban regions, it is troublesome to go out, but the transportation system in almost every city in China is quite developed now. Citizens could choose different vehicles as they wish in cities, such as car, bus, metro and even high speed railway. People living in Wuhan in central region of China could reach Guangzhou in South China by high speed rail within several hours, in which period people living in rural areas may just get to town from home. In cities, people could enjoy the door to door transport service easily meanwhile going out is quite an inconvenient action for many people living in suburban in China. This sort of obvious contrast can be seen by everybody. Besides the aspect of transportation, there are more plentiful living facilities in cities than in the countryside. As a whole, the infrastructure in most cities in China is of high quality. The systems of medical treatment, health care, physical training, etc are available for citizens to make use of to keep their life quality in a high level. Once citizens have a problem in daily life, there are often corresponding ways for them to solve it. While in the most areas of countryside in China, there is still even a lack of medical security now. Living in the city ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 6. The Visit by Friedrich DГјrrenmatt The Visit, originally published in 1986, is a play written by Friedrich DГјrrenmatt. DГјrrenmatt s play is set in GГјllen, an industrial town on the decline that has found itself in troublesome times. When the world s richest woman makes an undeniable offer, it becomes clear that the town s economy will be saved, but only at an unthinkable cost. As the play unfolds, the rise and fall of the town and each of its citizens becomes evident. DГјrrenmatt, a 20th century Swiss playwright, is well known for the thorough development of characters in his works; in his tragicomedy, The Visit, he employs the use of character development to illustrate the rise and fall of his two main characters, Alfred Ill and Claire Zachanassian, as they progress from adolescence to adulthood. In their adolescence, both Ill and Claire are presumably happy, as they are head over heels in love with each other. The two are practically inseparable, constantly running off to the woods or Peterson s Barn. Unfortunately, this all takes a drastic turn when Claire becomes pregnant and charges Ill with a paternity suit. As an adolescent, not only is Claire charitable , but she also loves justice, which is why she considers it a complete betrayal when Ill denies that the baby is his (DГјrrenmatt 6). When she loses the paternity suit, the town essentially turns against her and banishes a pregnant Claire. She transitions from a relatively high point in her life to being banished, which can be seen as the beginning of ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...

In 1995, 4000 patients waited for donor hearts and 731 of them died waiting (ijates). As the number of patients suffering from heart disease increased, the demand for donor hearts increased along with it. For this reason, it has brought biomedical engineers and researchers closer to developing devices like defibrillators and artificial hearts that may alleviate patients pain. Artificial hearttransplant machines are now reliable treatment options for heart failure. These machines are utilized as a substitute until a donor organcan be found. Statistics show that this method has resulted in an improvement of survival rate of 80% (Martin Struber). Plunkitt maintains that a person who goes through college is handicapped and that the odds against him succeeding are 100 to 1. Alli Barnes, the marketing director at Bravo, gave me a very detailed description of the current state of Bravo Arts Academy s IMC plan. To start off Alli described Bravo s target /segment as northern Utah and families. I believe that to go into further detail to more accurately describe Bravo s current target and segmentation you should look at the locations of all three academy locations. All the buildings are located in demographic areas where the dominant demographics are Middleburg which are families that are at a middle class income, typically have children, relatively young, family oriented, and are typically have freedom in their budgets. I have personally had a few adults students from 18 all the way to 70 years old. I have also made many new friends and met in real life for lunch or starbucks several times. For me, Facebook works as an easy way to build new networking friendships and invest in the friendships you already have. Are all of our Facebook friends actually our friends? It s socially clumsy to think that they are. But that is okay. Networking and online friendships have their own rewards. A few of the friends I have met on Facebook have become very good friends. • 25. Meno And Socrates Socratic Paradox In Plato s work The Meno , a socratic dialogue attempting to define virtue, chapters 77b 79e outline the Socratic Paradox, which focuses on the question of whether or not one can desire bad things. Plato outlines this through a dialogue between his character Meno and Socrates. The Socratic Paradox claims that no one desires bad things, i.e. no one desires things that are bad for them. Socrates claimed that to possess bad things would leave someone miserable and unhappy. One that desires bad things simply desires them because they think they are good. There are some implications to this claim. If Plato is correct that we cannot knowingly do something that harms us, or that we cannot do an action knowing that it will harm us in the long term, ... Show more content on Helpwriting.net ... Scott offers a modern example to support this. Suppose someone is on a certain kind of medication that requires them to not drink alcohol otherwise the medication will not work and they will be in great pain. They are completely aware of this and know that if they drink they will be miserable and wretched . Meno thinks it is quite possible for a person to want to drink regardless of this knowledge. Socrates would be determined to argue that if you know something is bad overall you cannot desire it. Although I see the conclusion Scott is trying to point to, I feel that his example is fairly weak as one could interpret Socrates as saying that someone who is completely rational cannot desire things that are bad for them. However I would claim that even this can be counteracted: surely even the most intelligent and rational people can want to drink and smoke? Therefore, I would claim that what Plato is trying to point out in the Meno is somewhat simplistic and needs to be looked at ... Get more on HelpWriting.net ...
  • 26. Why Is It Always Wrong To Prove Anything Upon Insufficient... SYNOPSIS In this essay, I will criticize W.K. Clifford s main claim that it is always wrong, everywhere, and for anyone, to believe anything upon insufficient evidence. I will prove it is not wrong to form a belief without sufficient evidence, by engaging with ineffability. In the first section, I will begin by presenting Clifford s main argumentfor why it is always wrong to believe anything upon insufficient evidence. In the second section, I will define and explain The Representation Principle. Since Clifford does not clearly define what constitutes sufficient evidence, I will employ The Representation Principle as one requirement for sufficient evidence. The Representation Principle states: it is impossible to acquire sufficient evidence if someone is unable to fully represent all of the relevant information. In the third section, I will present my argument for refraining from forming beliefs, also referenced as The RFB Argument. I conclude that in some cases it is wrong for human beings... Clifford claims the ship owner is wrong in holding his belief, since he did not form his belief on sufficient evidence. Regardless of the outcome of the ship s journey, the ship owner believed wrongly. Clifford s argument can be presented as follows: 1. In the ship owner case, the ship owner believed wrongly. 2. If the ship owner believed wrongly, then it is always wrong, everywhere, and for anyone, to believe anything upon insufficient evidence. C. The borders are clearly unsafe, and with approximately 1,400 immigrants crossing it everyday the U.S is very vulnerable to being in great danger and when the borders are vulnerable, the entire nation is vulnerable. If the borders were more secure, then the number of illegal immigrants sneaking into the country would reduce which would reduce many of the other issues that illegal immigrants cause. To stop the immigration issues, the nation must stop those issues at its core, being the borders. When the borders are taken care of, the issues that come along with them will also be taken care of. Not only do illegal immigrants crossing the border cause border control issues, but they also cause critical national security issues by jeopardizing the safety of the US citizens. For example, in September of 2007, forty one illegal immigrants with gang ties to the Mexican Mafia, Sureno 13, and the Latin Kings were detained for severe crimes in Northwest Arkansas. A number of of the gang members had been previously deported, however, crossed the border illegally yet again. This question has been central to comparative political economy for many years. However, most answers to it focus on institutions in a single sphere of the political economy. In economics, there are large but separate literatures on labor and financial markets. One explores the impact of labor regulations, social regimes, and trade unions on growth or unemployment (Nickell 1997; OECD 1994; Calmfors/ Driffil 1988). The other considers the effects of accounting standards, the legal standing of owners or creditors, ownership patterns, and equity or bank based finance on levels of investment or growth (Carlin/Mayer 1999a, 1999b; LaPorta et al. 1998a; Huang/Xu 1999; Mayer 1996). A similar separation is evident in political science. Although neocorporatism can be defined in broad terms (cf. Katzenstein 1985; Schmitter/Lehmbruch 1978), analyses of its economic impact usually focus on the organization of the trade union movement, considering its interaction mainly with the partisanship of governance (Cameron 1984; Alvarez et al. 1991; Garrett 1999).1 An entirely different literature examines the structure of financial systems (Verdier 2000; Cox 1986; Zysman 1984).2 However, there are good reasons to expect interaction effects among institutions across spheres of the political economy. The Effects Of Sexual Arousal On Mental Disorders A paraphilia is known as a medical category which medical doctors created in the 1920s to describe abnormal sexual arousal to individuals, objects, or situations that are not considered normal or typical behavior in a community and causes personal distress or serious problems. Quinsey (2011) noted that the Diagnostic and Statistical Manual of Mental Disorders includes paraphilias as mental disorders. He stated that this is because they are known to include a behavioral or psychological dysfunction which can create significant distress or disability. He explains a primary feature in most paraphilias is that the sexual behaviors most often involve a person who did not consent to the specific behavior. This is especially true in exhibitionism, frotteurism, and voyeurism. According to Kafka and Hennen (2002), The most common types of paraphilias are exhibitionism (exposing ones genitals to an unexpected person or performing sexual acts that can be watched by others) voyeurism (urges to observe an unsuspecting person who is naked, disrobing, or engaging in sexual activates, or in activates usually considered to be a private nature), pedophilia (sexual preference for prepubescent children or engaging in child sexual abuse), sexual masochism (wanting to be humiliated, beaten, bound, or otherwise made to suffer for sexual pleasure) sadism (in which the pain or humiliation of a person is sexually exciting), fetishism (use of inanimate objects to gain sexual excitement), transvestic ... After the baby is born the newly specialized glia cells begin constructing the fatty sheath around the axon, need for the speed and effectiveness of the neural transmission between all the neurons in the brain. Oligodendrocytes are responsible for the myelin produced in the central nervous system. It commences first around the spinal, ascending from the hindbrain structures to the forebrain. This process continues gradually for decades, until the brain is fully developed. Synaptogenesis is the final stage of neural development. Neurons in this stage must establish the necessary connections for proper functioning. In doing so, many Native Russian beliefs and ways of life were brought over and manifested in similar but different forms among tribes that are based in North America. Scientist have found conclusive DNA evidence to prove the close relation between Native Russians of the Siberian region and Native Americans. To do this, scientist examined 25,000 samples of DNA from Russian Natives and the nationalities of peoples in neighboring countries. After this they searched for specific DNA markers such as the Y chromosome and the Mitochondrial DNA, along with other chromosomes, in doing so the scientists concluded that many people of Siberian descent and many individuals of Native American descent shared many common ancestors.
