1. Describe what it is
Teaching aims:
- The children should be able to remember the vocabulary.

Procedure:
I divide the class in two groups. I need a volunteer of each group. The volunteers take their
chairs and come to the front. The volunteers sit with their backs to the board and look right to
their groups. I put a picture on the board. The groups have to describe the word without using
this word. The group which has guessed and named the word first, gets a point. After 15
minutes I stop the activity. We add the points and the group with the most points is the
winner.

Hello everybody!
I´m going to divide you in two group. This is the one group (show it) and this is the other
group (show to them). I need one volunteer of each group.
Please come to the front. Take your chairs with you.
Okay.
I´m going to put up a picture on the board. You describe the picture to your team member.
Don’t use the word. An example: I put the word “carrot” on the board and you describe it like
this: It´s a vegetable. It´s orange. It´s long and rabbits like it very much. (You are allowed to
use body language too.)
The group, who guesses it first, gets a point. The group who gets the most points, is the
winner.
