In a graduate level course, peer instructors were trained to create online quizzes for use as optional formative assessments by students. These quizzes were created using ExamSoft, and designed to reflect the format of summative in-class exams. Quizzes were made available to students, and performance was recorded. At the conclusion of each semester, quiz and exam psychometrics were analyzed and compared to determine the effect of quizzes on exam performance in the courses. Comparisons revealed improvements in scores between quizzes and exams and a benefit to students utilizing the resources, making them a useful instrument in the self-directed learning toolbox. Self-testing, a type of formative assessment, provides students with a study tool that can help identify areas of weakness. Despite their usefulness, this type of additional learning resource can often be time consuming for faculty members, limiting its successful use across multiple courses. The use of peer tutors has been shown to provide advantages to faculty members as well as students utilizing tutoring services and the tutors themselves. This session will instruct participants on the implementation and analysis of self-assessments using ExamSoft.
At the end of the session, participants will be able to:
1) Demonstrate the process of enrolling peer instructors as exam item writers.
2) Demonstrate the use of the internal comments box as a means of providing feedback to peer instructors.
3) Describe the process for analyzing ExamSoft data in the comparison of quiz and exam performance.

We examined predictors of Calculus II final grades within a sample of 84 college students enrolled in a hybrid course through WEPS. Predictors included “typical” psychological correlates, including math confidence, math anxiety, spatial skills and numerosity ability, as well as clickstream data from the students’ activity in the online course. Results showed the clickstream data were the best predictors of course performance, in that students who spent more time grading other students’ assignments, and students who took fewer quiz attempts, did better in the course. Math confidence and then math anxiety were the next best predictors, in that students with higher confidence and lower math anxiety performed better in the course. We will discuss how results might be dependent on the particular content of this course, and how we might use easy to collect psychological variables along with clickstream data to better understand, and potentially predict, course performance in online courses.

A goal analysis identifies the steps required to achieve a goal by sequencing the major operations and decisions. It involves two steps: identifying and sequencing the steps, and classifying the goal statement. The analysis also determines the skills and knowledge needed to complete the goals using Gagne's domains of learning, which include intellectual skills, cognitive strategies, verbal information, attitudes, and motor skills. These are analyzed and a flowchart is created to chart the steps in the most efficient order through a step-by-step description of achieving the goal. Not all goals follow a traditional sequential process, as some like analyzing verbal information are achieved by topic rather than discrete steps.

to significant land degradation, adversely affecting the region's land cover.
Therefore, human intervention has significantly influenced land use patterns over many
centuries, evolving its structure over time and space. In the present era, these changes have
accelerated due to factors such as agriculture and urbanization. Information regarding land use and
cover is essential for various planning and management tasks related to the Earth's surface,

- 6. The Deming Cycle for QA Quality Assurance is not achieved by completing the four steps of the cycle. It is a Cyclical and iterative process!!!
