3. 1. Who did you serve and what did
you accomplish that day?
• On 10/24/13, my branch and I served Camp
Adeline which is located in Adeline, IL. We
completed some fall clean up in preparation
for their fall fundraiser. We cleared out brush
on the trails so they could do hay rack rides.

7. 2. What is your team’s plan for an
ongoing relationship with the charity?
I attended this Christian Camp for many years
through my teens. It is where I first accepted
Christ and has a special place in my heart. My son
is now 14 and has attended camp there as well.
Personally, my family will continue to visit and
support this camp.
Professionally, my team and I had a great
experience serving them and enjoying the
facilities. We will be back to help again as they
are always limited by funding.

11. 3. How would your charity benefit from
receiving a portion of the prize money?
This Camp would benefit from receiving prize money in many ways. I spoke with the
Camp Director (who is married to an old friend of mine from camp days), and he
has many plans to increase the number of camp attendees during the summer and
also expand to include an after school program in the near future.
Aside from building updates, they are in desperate need of a new storage building for
maintenance equipment because the previous one was torn down due to
deterioration.
If additional funding was available, he would also like to see a pond built in the back to
allow swimming and fishing for the campers.
Personally, I would love to see this camp benefit as much as possible because it has
had a significant impact on my life as well as my son. The individuals managing it
are great people and have a vision to expand their influence and bring others to
Christ.
Thank you for your consideration.
