The McCall family volunteered at Kids Against Hunger, helping to prepare for their monthly food packaging event where volunteers combine rice, soy, vegetables, and vitamins into packs that are shipped worldwide to malnourished children. The organization also sells merchandise to raise funds and the family plans to continue volunteering monthly as well as help organize larger packaging events involving 75-100 people working together. Kids Against Hunger's food packs each provide meals for six people, helping address the global problem of over one billion undernourished worldwide.

2. Who We Served
The McCall family served Kids Against Hunger today. We helped
them prepare for their “monthly pack” which is held the third
Saturday of every month.
Volunteers come together to pack rice, soy, and dehydrated
vegetables combined with vitamins and minerals.
These packs are boxed and shipped throughout the US and
around the world to malnourished and starving children and
their families.

3. We Organized
Kids Against Hunger also sells t-shirts and sweatshirts to promote their
cause and raise funding.

4. Future Plans
We plan on continuing serving Kids Against Hunger by helping
them prepare for their monthly packs.
We also plan on organizing a group to participate in a monthly
pack. This is a real team event involving 75-100 people that
organize in groups to pack and seal the bags, and box them up so
they are ready for shipment.

5. We Cleaned and Stored
A clean environment is important at Kids Against Hunger. Plastic
containers have to be periodically cleaned and stored for future use.

6. Just One Food Pack…
Provides a nourishing meal to six children or adults. It is
estimated that more than one billion people are undernourished
in the world.
A portion of the prize money awarded to Kids Against Hunger
would go to multiple uses.
Kids Against Hunger Central Indiana is currently in need of
laptops and office equipment, a cargo van, forklift, and drying
racks.

7. Worthy Cause
Some of the children that volunteered created this as a reminder to
everything that serves at Kids Against Hunger.
