This document summarizes efforts to improve access to childhood cancer services in Ghana. It finds that while quality of care has improved at treatment centers, access remains unequal, with over half of patients coming from the two regions with centers. Less than 4% of patients came from northern regions with high poverty. A new project aims to strengthen a shared-care network in the north and implement an early warning signs campaign through partnerships to improve nationwide access.
