Malaysia (JPBD) in 2013 to centralized and update landuse data collection nationwide along a uniform planning metadata and map projection. I was then project manager but pensioned in 2015 where it was finally completed the following year. Keberadaan Nganjuk sebagai kabupaten yang memiliki resiko bencana berskala sedang menjadi fokus pembahasan dalam FGD Lingkungan yang di gelar di Dinas Lingkungan Hidup Kab. Nganjuk.
Dalam kegiatan FGD yang di hadiri seluruh Komunitas, Pemangku Kebijakan (Dinas Kehutanan Jawa Timur, FPRB Nganjuk, BPBD Nganjuk) tersebut menyoroti pentingnya kolaborasi antar pihak untuk melakukan aksi mitigasi pengurangan resiko bencana.
Dalam Paparan ini, Pelestari Kawasan Wilis memaparkan konsep mitigasi yang bertumpu pada perlindungan sumber mata Air. Hal ini selaras dengan aksi & kegiatan yang telah dilakukan sejak 2020, dimana Perkawis mengambil peran konservasi di sekitar lereng Wilis

9. Peran Data dan Informasi Spasial
Pengambilan keputusan yg efisien dan efektif memerlukan
informasi spasial maupun non-spasial yg up-to-date dan
akurat, yg menjelaskan situasi terkini yg terjadi.
Tidak satupun institusi yg memiliki data dan informasi
lengkap untuk keperluan pengambilan keputusan di berbagai
sektor data sharing merupakan sebuah keharusan.
Diperlukan pengaturan dan penggunaan teknologi yang tepat
untk mengatasi permasalahan akses thd data spasial untuk
mendukung proses pengambilan keputusan yang efisien dan
efektif Spatial Data Infrastructure (SDI).

19. QGIS adalah sebuah aplikasi desktop Sistem aplikasi Geografis berbasis open
source yang mudah digunakan yang bisa dijalankan di Linux, Unix dan
Windows.
QGIS mendukung data vector, raster, dan format database (ORDBMS)
Versi terbaru adalah QGIS 1.6.0
Dengan lokasi yang tersebar, setiap unit kerja mengumpulkan dan mengelola data dan informasi (baik spasial maupun non spasial) sesuai dengan kebutuhannya masing-masing membentuk pulau-pulau informasi (islands of information).
Masalah2 yang terjadi jika data tidak terintegrasi:
Sharing of data between systems
Data duplication
Data inconsistency
Applications that don’t talk to one another
Limited or lack of integrated information
Isolated decisions lead to overall inefficiencies
Increased expenses
Ketersediaan data, akses dan pemanfaatan terhadap data yg terpercaya, up-to-date dan akurat masih menjadi masalah utama saat ini.
