The study aims at measuring the effects of information technology on the transformation of businesses in communication companies in Jordan. The study population consisted of companies' directors as well as their deputies, assistants, advisors, in addition to department managers and their assistants. The total number of the study subjects is 3 designated communication companies in Jordan; these are: Zain, Umniah, and Orange. To achieve the aim of the study, the researcher had prepared a questionnaire which comprises of 45 items covering the three factors of the independent variable (Information Technology): infrastructure, developmental environment, and executive support systems and applications, as well as the three factors of the dependent variable (Transformation of Businesses): operations, organization change, and workers' competence. In order to test the hypotheses, the following three criteria were adequately used: The Medians, the Standard Deviations, as well as the Regression Analysis. The study has reached a number of results; the most notable amongst these results is that there is a positive effect that is statistically significant of information technology on the elements of business transformation in Jordanian communication companies and all of their relating elements.

Bloom’s Taxonomy (BT) have been used to classify the objectives of learning outcome by dividing the learning into three different domains; the cognitive domain, the effective domain and the psychomotor domain. In this paper, we are introducing a new approach to classify the questions and learning outcome statements (LOS) into Blooms taxonomy (BT) and to verify BT verb lists, which are being cited and used by academicians to write questions and (LOS). An experiment was designed to investigate the semantic relationship between the action verbs used in both questions and LOS to obtain more accurate classification of the levels of BT. A sample of 775 different action verbs collected from different universities allows us to measure an accurate and clear-cut cognitive level for the action verb. It is worth mentioning that natural language processing techniques were used to develop our rules as to induce the questions into chunks in order to extract the action verbs. Our proposed solution was able to classify the action verb into a precise level of the cognitive domain. We, on our side, have tested and evaluated our proposed solution using confusion matrix. The results of evaluation tests yielded 97% for the macro average of precision and 90% for F1. Thus, the outcome of the research suggests that it is crucial to analyse and verify the action verbs cited and used by academicians to write LOS and classify their questions based on blooms taxonomy in order to obtain a definite and more accurate classification.

This paper extends the use of the Unified Theory of Acceptance and Use of Technology (UTAUT) to explain
social media adoption by microbusinesses. A canonical action research method is used to study social
media adoption in microbusiness, and a post positivist approach is used to report the results based on a
predetermined premise. It is found that the major constructs of performance and effort expectancy played
an insignificant role, and social influence and facilitating conditions did not influence the behavioral and
adoption intentions of social media by microbusiness owners. Owner characteristics and codification effort
dominated the use behavior. The goal of microbusiness owners in gaining additional customers leads to
behavioral modification resulting in replacing of behavioral intention with goals as a superior method of
predicting adoption behavior within the context of microbusinesses

performance. The study explored the antecedents that
increased innovation in organizations. These were the
individual intention, attitude, self-efficacy for training and
development, subjective norm, organizational trust,
leadership, organizational rewards, organizational culture,
social network, and use of ICT. It also reveals that KS
could be increased in the organizations utilizing selecting
and initiating proper antecedents for practicing KS. We
desire to extend this study to further an empirical
investigation on the same issue to validate the research
results.

Despite significant academic and managerial interest in big data, there is a dearth of research on how big data impacts
the long-term firm performance. Reasons for this gap include a lack of objective indices to measure big data
availability and its impact, and the tendency of studies to ignore the costs associated with collecting and analyzing
big data, assuming that big data automatically delivers benefits to firms. Focusing on how firms create and capture
value from big data about customers, we use the resource-based view and three dimensions of big data (i.e., volume,
variety, and veracity) to understand when the benefits outweigh the costs. Relying on the number of downloads of
mobile device applications, we find that volume of big data has a negative effect on firm performance. This result
suggests that the “bigness” of big data alone does not ensure value creation for a firm, and could even constitute a
“dark side” of big data. Because big data variety—measured as the number of types of information taken per each
application—moderates the negative effects of big data volume, simultaneous high values of volume and variety
allow firms to create value that positively affects their performance. In addition, high levels of veracity (i.e., a high
percentage of employees devoted to big data analysis), are linked to firms benefiting from big data via value capture.
These findings shed light on the circumstances in which big data can be beneficial for firms, contributing to a better
theoretical understanding of the opportunities and challenges and providing useful indications to managers.

Higher Education Institutions across the world will have to take a digital route in imparting knowledge and skills to the students’ community. The world got stunned when it was hit by COVID- 19. Business Sectors were exploring alternative methodologies for continuing their business activities. Business Units had started investing huge amount of money on digitalizing and digital transformation of their processes, so that could keep moving ahead in the market achieving their goals and objectives. Likewise, educational institutions were also thinking extensively about the learning support to be extended for the students’ community to learn and to progress. Educational institutions also had to take up the same route of using internet technologies extensively to reach out students’ community. So, digitalization and digital transformation have become the essence now. Educational institutions have taken Internet Technologies as one of the key routes for imparting education and providing allied services to students. This trend would continue to be dominating and replacing the conventional teaching practices soon. Education Institutions need to re-orient their operations like teaching and learning, staff and student services, marketing, governance, industry-community engagement, digitally. For educational institutions, data concerning students, pass outs, graduating, placements etc are of vital importance for evaluating their strategic plans and preparing action plans accordingly. The government of Sultanate of Oman has allocated approximately 1.58 billion Omani Riyals in 2018 for providing quality education that is on par with international standards. (Press Reader, 2019), which shows its commitment towards enhancing the quality of higher education. The Higher Educational Institutions in Sultanate of Oman have been implementing internet-based technologies in teaching and learning during COVID – 19 period. They have been in favour of digitalizing teaching and learning and academic support services. Educational Institutions in Oman must be accredited by Oman Accreditation Authority, an apex accreditation authority. The apex authority is prescribing certain standards to be complied with by the educational institutions to have been certified as an accredited and excellent academic service providers in the country. So, there exists a good scope for the use of digital technologies in educational institutions in rendering various educational services like serving alumni, gathering data about students’ issues, identifying industry requirements in making plans about new offerings etc. Use of digital technologies would help higher educational institutions achieving its objectives and goals without many hardships.
Today’s organizations are faced with a number of issues related to an increasingly complex and unpredictable business environment. These issues have implications on training strategies for companies: it has become imperative to make the required kinds of knowledge available to employees, regardless of where they are, as soon as they are required. All this usage produces daily huge data that cannot be processed using existing database management techniques and tools because of the size, the volume, the heterogeneity, and the unstructured nature of the data. This has led many sectors like healthcare, business, education, and so forth to start using Big Data technologies to analyze, process, decision making and performance. Big Data is “datasets which could not be captured, managed, and processed by general computers within an acceptable scope” [1].Education sectors are one of the most important sectors that use information and communication technology (ICT).However, the education sector in Saudi Arabia is still behind other developed countries in terms of the adopting and implementation of Big Data techniques. The aim of this study is to develop an integrated framework to utilize Big Data for higher educational institutes in Saudi Arabia and to support decision making and improve performance. While many studies look at data mining and Big Data in the education sector, there are few studies that touch on this issue in Saudi education, especially in universities. The study collected data through self-administered surveys as a principal quantitative method and through semi structured in depth interviews as the follow-up qualitative method. The study used SPSS software to analyze the data from surveys and used manual analysis to analyze the interview data. Strategic planning is a relatively new concept for non-profit organizations (Bryson (1995) and
Nawawi (2000)). Strategic planning is needed in order that organizations can offer better service quality for their
customers and for the sustainability of their organizations. Nonprofit organizations have people who are focused
on achieving specific goals of their organizations (Ireland: 1999: 96-99). Their activities are indeed limited to
the budget and a constant need to raise funds through donations and assistance. When discussing about quality,
the first thing to consider is to get rid of the notions1) that nonprofit organizations cannot work like business
organizations, 2) that non-profit organizations cannot measure their performance, and 3) that quality
improvement techniques cannot be applied to non-profit organizations.
This research was in the form of a case study with Sekolah Tinggi Indonesia Membangun (STIE INABA) as the
research subject. The research method used was research and development. Research and development can be
defined as a process or steps to develop a new product or improve existing products that are accountable.
Based on the results of the analysis of the data collected, it can be concluded that the performance measurements
that had been applied produced less information and less effective strategic planning. IT Balance Scorecard was
used to analyze the relevance of the performance measurement indicators that had been established with the

ABSTRACT:- Digital transformation in education can enhance instructional learning, especially in

I. INTRODUCTION
The digital transformation (DT) is essential for all fields, regardless of their size and sector of activity.
Beyond the dematerialization of work processes, this approach allows management system to optimize their
operations, and to gain in performance, efficiency, and competitiveness through the adoption of a new
management mode, new tools, new methods of work but also new reflections and organizations. The DT has
become a significant topic of concern and a strategic issue for all management system. It offers new
opportunities for students, beyond their traditional activities, by accelerating their growth and creating
sustainable competitive advantages and security of operations. The DT increases the profitability of the
education system by simplifying processes and interactions within the management and students.
Digital transformation means transforming an organization's core business to better meet customer
needs by leveraging technology and data. In education, that target customer is often students, though it could
also be faculty, staff, alumni, and others. As the educational sector becomes more competitive, digital
transformation is now becoming a necessary means of survival as this new digital world requires educators to
adapt and adopt digital technologies, methodologies and mindsets. To understand how a full and sustainable
digital transformation can take place, it's important to examine the potential challenges or roadblocks an
institution might face. The goal of this paper is to give an overview of the literature regarding digital
transformation into management education and to analyze how it is used in practice in regard to: time
component; country of case origin; case industry and; digital transformation focus.
Digital transformation in education is a 21st
-century necessity. Right from schooling to higher
education, every level of our learning system is affected by technology. Rapidly evolving technology is
transforming the way knowledge is imparted and absorbed today. Increasing digitalization making way for new
communication instruments enabling faster knowledge sharing in schools and colleges. It is redefining learning
models in education and skill development.
A digital transformation process consists of information technology implementation projects, as well as
organizational factors such as top management support, digital transformation strategy, and organizational
changes. However, to the best of our knowledge, there is little evidence about digital transformation endeavors
in organizations and how they perceive it – is it only about digital technologies adoption or a true organizational
shift is needed? In order to address this issue and as the first step in our research project, a literature review is
conducted. The analysis included case study papers from Scopus and Web of Science databases.

that arise owing to the integration of digital technologies, as well as in their operations after a transformation.

improvements (such as enhancing customer experience, streamlining operations, or creating new business

communication channels and the digitization of a firm's offerings (products and services), which replace or
augment physical offerings. Furthermore, digital transformation entails tactical and strategic business moves
that are triggered by datadriven insights and the launch of digital business models that allow new ways of

success of the individual, the institution or the society depends on the activity of producing and using
information. The increase in the use and production of knowledge places societies into a necessary
transformation. One of the most important events in history is the industrial (industrial) revolution which has the
potential to transform society.
Developments and innovations in technology over the past 20 years give us the opportunity to access
time and space without any hassle. Considering the possibilities offered by technology for social and economic
development, it is considered appropriate for the stratum of globalization to come into the technological
dimension to be called "digital age",
"Information age", "information society"
Speed: New technologies that are connected to each other and are very versatile move quickly at an exponential
speed, triggering each other.
Width and Depth: Digitization speeds up the industry 4.0. However, the increase in technology diversity in the
industry has brought about the change.

In recent time due to novel CORONA-19 pandemic education system started realizing the importance

platform such as zoom, google meet etc. Which made digital platform to play an important role into the
education system.
In past years where practical subjects seems to be difficult to study online where in today’s conditions
every aspect to gain knowledge in any field made it possible by bring digitalizing in education system.
The advanced technologies have the ability to plan, manage, and support digital transformation needs for the
education industry. It can help institutions move their focus away from traditional learning models to adopt

delivering more customized programs. However, this should constitute only the first phase of the digitization
process. Ultimately, the institution needs to embrace the enterprise resource planning (ERP) paradigm, which
has found considerable success throughout the business community of practice. The digitization of management
education need not be limited to simply webinars and podcasts but should encompass a much wider range of
programs and services, such as, student recruiting.
Ironically, cases of business successes and failures in responding to digital transformation are a key theme in
many management education strategy courses.
4.3 What is the roadmap for change.

learning. It is a holistic way of teaching and learning that meets the needs of today’s digital natives. It is an

environment made up of collaboration, choice, and an array of technological resources that supports a successful
online learning experience. However, in order for learners to be successful in this learning environment the
challenges to e-learning must be overcome with support and a best practice solution. Instructors and learners
must embrace the shift away from traditional classroom practices to an e-learning approach to education.
Despite the fact that today’s learners are digital natives, the use of technology for e-learning can be
overwhelming and provide student motivation challenges however, with the proper supports from instructors,
learners can be successful within these e-learning environments. Finally, and probably the most important
challenge for the instructor is to focus on the overall elements of a well-developed course. Developing a
purposeful and well-defined online course, which supports the instructor and learner, means devoting the
appropriate time and embedding the applicable course elements into the e-learning environment
VIII. LIMITATIONS
1. It may be a solo act.

3. Too much time spent in front of a computer screen may be harmful.
