CYBER TRUCK
The Tesla cyber truck is an all electric, battery
powered truck, light commercial vehicle which is
in development by Tesla, also known as the Tesla
truck,Tesla pick up
IDEOLOGY
• The idea of making a electric truck was proposed by the ELON MUSK the
CEO of Tesla.
• ELON MUSK made to it give “BETTER UTILITY THAN A TRUCK WITH MORE
PERFORMANCE THAN A SPORTS CAR AND A VERSATILE UTILITY VEHICLE”
• The ultimate result of using the cyber truck is to reduce the fossil fuel
consumption in trucks.
• The fossil fuels will be no longer available after a decade so as alternate to
the fossil fuels these electric trucks will help in the future use purpose.
• To reduce the global warming causing around the world.
CONSTRUCTION DETAILS
• The cybertruck is made in the shape of polygonal.
• The cybertruck does not uses unibody construction like most
passenger cars, rather than the body-on-frame construction
which is typical of trucks.
• The battery pack is placed in under-floor.
• Earlier design concept for outer panels, but this was later
switched to stainless steel for additional strength.
• There will be six passenger seating capacity in the truck front
cabin and also back space for goods at the rear of the truck.
• There will be a towing hook for dragging the loads connected
to it.
CONSTRUCTION DETAILS
• The overall length of the vehicle is 231.7 in
Width of the vehicle is 82 in,height is 75 in.
• The motors are setup at the rear of the truck.
• The number of motors for a truck is depends on the
load to be carried & speed required for the truck.
• The highest number of motors available is three in high
end model truck which costs more than $69,900/- .
• Ultra strong and polymer layered composite glass can
absorb and redirect impact force for imporved
performance and damage tolerance.
WORKING
• We all know that the vehicle is battery powered.
• The batteries are arranged in the lower part of the vehicle in the chassis.
• The battery power is given to the motors to run the truck.
• The power transmission is done by the drive train which is connected to
the motors and simultaneously to the wheels.
• The no of motors in the truck decide the driving wheels i.e., if there are
three motors than it will be all wheel drive and it will be rear wheel drive
when there is only single motor present in the truck.
• The motor present in the truck has a capacity of developing more than
270 kw of power.
BATTERY PACK
COMPARISION WITH OTHER TRUCK
• The cybertruck is different in many aspects when
compared with other trucks.
• It accelerates from 0-60miles an hour at less than 2.9
sec.
• It can cover a distance of more 400 km in single charge.
• The max towing capacity of the truck is more than
6,300 kg.
• It has highly developed auto-pilot system.
• This truck is having a self-levelling suspension which
compensate for variable loads.
ADVANTAGES
• Smooth & noise free operation.
• Relatively high speed than any other
alternative fuel trucks.
• Carbon emissions is less.
• Relatively less weight than other trucks.
• Enlarged safety.
DISADVANTAGE
• The price of the truck is high compared to the
same capacity other fuel truck.
• Charging time can be high .
• There are rare cases of hacking the truck as it
is separate auto-pilot system
ENVIORNMENTALASPECT
• These trucks are pollution free as compared to
the other trucks.
• These type of trucks reduce the usage of the
fossil fuel consumption.
• These trucks will be a replacement for the old
diesel engine trucks which are causing most of
the pollution in world.
FUTURE DEVELOPMENT
• The time taken for charging the truck reduces
in future.
• The price can also be decreased due to the
development in the battery cells.
CONCLUSION
• By using of electrical vehicles pollution may be
controlled to the optimum level. Speed of the
vehicle is increased. Due to the absence of
engine there will be no clutch and it will be
more easy to drive a vehicle with only a
accelerator pedal. The cost/km reduces to
great extent
