Introduction:
 PHEV finds the difficulty of charging it after few kilometers
but the wind and solar powered vehicle helps to eliminate this
drawback as this has the facility to be charged on board due to
wind and solar energy.
 The sun and the wind energy are utilized to charge battery and
generate the energy to run the vehicles smoothly.

 In the presence of sunlight battery gets charged from solar
panels and while moving in specific speed, irrespective of
presence of sunlight battery gets charged from wind turbine.

 A wind turbine works
on a simple principle.
The energy in the wind
turns two or three
propeller-like blades
around a rotor. The
rotor is connected to the
main shaft, which spins
a generator to create
electricity.

Solar charge controller:
 A charge controller, or charge regulator is basically a voltage and/or
current regulator to keep batteries from overcharging. It regulates
the voltage and current coming from the solar panels going to the
battery.
 The primary role is to manage charging the battery bank, prevent it
from overcharging and many control the rate of the current and
voltage at which it charges.
Motor driver circuit (L293D):
 L293D is a typical Motor driver or Motor Driver IC which
allows DC motor to drive on either direction.
 L293D is a 16-pin IC which can control a set of two DC motors
simultaneously in any direction. It means that you can control
two DC motor with a single L293D IC
Dc motors:
 A machine that converts dc power into mechanical energy is known as dc
motor.
 If electrical energy is supplied to a conductor lying perpendicular to a
magnetic field, the interaction of current flowing in the conductor and the
magnetic field will produce mechanical force (and therefore, mechanical
energy).
 Its operation is based on the principle that when a current vehiclerying
conductor is placed in a magnetic field, the conductor experiences a
mechanical force.
 The direction of the force is given by Fleming’s left hand rule.
Battery (Lead acid -12v,1.3Ah):
 The oldest type of rechargeable battery. Despite having a very low energy-to-
weight ratio and a low energy-to-volume ratio, its ability to supply high surge
currents means that the cells have a relatively large power to weight ratio.
Most of the world's lead-acid batteries are automobile starting, lighting and
ignition(SLI) batteries.
 Very High reliability (combines wind and solar power)
 No pollution, clean and pure energy
 As source of energy are renewable, it is environmental friendly
 Energy efficiency and power quality is high
 Cost of recharge is free and long term warranty
 Lighter and easy to charge
 Low operating cost and low maintenance cost
Advantages:

 Initial investment is more .
 The arrangement becomes complicated due to the hybrid
structure.
 Large number of harmonics is produced.
 Wind energy system are noisy in operation.
Application:
 Remote and rural area village electrification
 Flexible to use
 Residential colonies and apartment general lighting
 Street lighting
 Both Ac as well as Dc load can be run
 By combining the two intermittent source of wind and solar
energy and by incorporating maximum power point tracking
(mppt) algorithms, the system’s power transfer efficiency and
reliability can be improved significantly.
 Here we try to found key features for improve solar energy
conversion that is distance, angle, wavelength and temperature.
 By the use of hybrid vehicles we can eliminate the usage of
fossil fuels.
 Higher efficiency than the individual system
Conclusion:

 When the entire world is facing the svehiclecity of petrol and
the gasoline prices are touching the sky, Hybrid vehicles have
come up as a promising and a feasible option to cope with the
situation.
 The use of hybrids is being encouraged by many governments
in the world.

Introduction:  PHEV finds the difficulty of charging it after few kilometers but the wind and solar powered vehicle helps to eliminate this drawback as this has the facility to be charged on board due to wind and solar energy.  The sun and the wind energy are utilized to charge battery and generate the energy to run the vehicles smoothly. 3
  • 4.  In the presence of sunlight battery gets charged from solar panels and while moving in specific speed, irrespective of presence of sunlight battery gets charged from wind turbine. Contd….. 4

  • 8. b) Wind energy:  A wind turbine works on a simple principle. The energy in the wind turns two or three propeller-like blades around a rotor. The rotor is connected to the main shaft, which spins a generator to create electricity.

  • 15. Solar charge controller:  A charge controller, or charge regulator is basically a voltage and/or current regulator to keep batteries from overcharging. It regulates the voltage and current coming from the solar panels going to the battery.  The primary role is to manage charging the battery bank, prevent it from overcharging and many control the rate of the current and voltage at which it charges.

Motor driver circuit (L293D):  L293D is a typical Motor driver or Motor Driver IC which allows DC motor to drive on either direction.  L293D is a 16-pin IC which can control a set of two DC motors simultaneously in any direction. It means that you can control two DC motor with a single L293D IC
  • 17. Dc motors:  A machine that converts dc power into mechanical energy is known as dc motor.  If electrical energy is supplied to a conductor lying perpendicular to a magnetic field, the interaction of current flowing in the conductor and the magnetic field will produce mechanical force (and therefore, mechanical energy).  Its operation is based on the principle that when a current vehiclerying conductor is placed in a magnetic field, the conductor experiences a mechanical force.  The direction of the force is given by Fleming’s left hand rule.
  • 18. Battery (Lead acid -12v,1.3Ah):  The oldest type of rechargeable battery. Despite having a very low energy-to- weight ratio and a low energy-to-volume ratio, its ability to supply high surge currents means that the cells have a relatively large power to weight ratio. Most of the world's lead-acid batteries are automobile starting, lighting and ignition(SLI) batteries.

  • 22.  By combining the two intermittent source of wind and solar energy and by incorporating maximum power point tracking (mppt) algorithms, the system’s power transfer efficiency and reliability can be improved significantly.  Here we try to found key features for improve solar energy conversion that is distance, angle, wavelength and temperature.  By the use of hybrid vehicles we can eliminate the usage of fossil fuels.  Higher efficiency than the individual system Conclusion: 22
