Personal Background History:
Myself and my MD, Mr. Tinus Oosthuizen started the business together in 2010 at his residential house.
My Duties in 2010:
In the beginning, my responsibility was cold calling clients and introducing them to our company and
providing them with customer service duties. These include phone calls, email messages and follow-ups
concerning product delivery and quality issues. Basically run the whole company until we grew a year
later.
My Duties in 2012:
Position Held: Technical Client Liaison
Providing excellent customer service, problem solving, communication skills as well as ensuring that the
respective call are tracked until case closure.
Duties and Responsibilities as a Technical Co-ordinator
As a technical coordinator my duties are to supervise and coordinate the activities and operations of the
technical department and to ensure that the engineers respond quickly to the service requests from
clients. I am responsible for preparing service templates for our clients, ensuring correspondence
between clients and engineers are met, examining and correcting SLA contracts as well as for Clients
Reports, establishing a tracking case number for every support task according to the company
requirements. Allocating appointments to the relevant engineer, ensuring the necessary technical
reports are sent to client.
Also once a month, it’s my duty as a technical coordinator to book meetings with our SLA clients on
behalf of my Technical Director, filing reports and to review the technical reports, in order to make sure
that all the requirements are being met.
As a Technical coordinator I will review the activity and work of technical consultants from outside the
company and make sure that the technical staff meets the industry standards and the business
requirements while performing tasks. It’s my responsibility to provide the correct information, network
diagrams as well as logging the case for the client and engineer.
What is expected in my position as a technical coordinator to have skills and abilities in handling
customer queries, having customer relationship skills and strong people management skills. This is
because my position will often be in contact with people and even superiors, I would need to present
myself properly, but also possess good communication skills. In order to work in a dynamic
environment, I would need to be energetic and enthusiastic. Manual dexterity and strong resource and
time management aptitudes are required in my field.
Besides resolving some technical issues, I should also be able to demonstrate that I am confident, smart
and have a strong analytical skills.
HARDWARE SALES:
Duties and Responsibilities as a Hardware Sales Person:
• Recommend products to customers, based on customers' needs and interests.
• Answer customers' questions about products, prices, availability, product uses, and credit terms.
• Monitor market conditions, product innovations, and competitors' products, prices, and sales.
• Provide customers with POC if required
• Quote clients
• Consult with clients after sales, warranties support given.
• Prepare sales contracts and order forms.
• Purchase products from Suppliers and ensure that the stock is distribute to clients.
• Arrange direct delivery and installation of products and equipment.
