Professional Experience:
Working with Petrofac Malaysia, responsible for developing, delivering and evaluating workplace +
classroom training to the fresh graduates sponsored by PETRONAS to on the job application. The
training takes place in a real off-shore platform, to ensure that the candidates achieve the required
level of competence in off-shore related Instrumentation and controls systems. During this period,
their performance being assessed periodically against BTEC Engineering & Maintenance
Standards.
Assigned to work as a Technical Training Advisor, responsible for providing high level technical
advice on all GAPL Training and Development activities.
Assigned to work as a Technical Training Advisor, responsible for providing high level technical
advice on all IPDE Training and Development activities, actively worked for following clients as a
part of the training and development projects.
Worked with Oman Gas Company as an Instrumentation Competence Assessor and Sr.Trainer,
Responsible for competency mapping, developing, delivering and evaluating training programs,
intent for existing employees. This involves, assessing current competence level by conducting
workplace assessment approximately 26 specific modules and 500 elements of relevant industry.

Worked for Petroleum Development Oman as a Sr. Instrumentation Trainer, from 2005 to 2008.

Off-Shore based Training:
Training modules are developed and delivered based on the real off-shore platform systems and
controls and instrumentation systems are state of the art technologies. The platform systems are
monitored and controlled by Honeywell PKS and SMS system. The field instruments consist of
latest technologies; which is used for process control and monitoring system, instrument protective
system and for process analysis. The platform consist of following systems and subsystems, such
as: Wellhead, Production test separator, multi-phase flow meter, HP separator, LP Separator, Oil
and water pumps, Electrostatic separator, Oil stabilisation column, oil launcher and receiver, Oil
storage tanks, Oil circulation pumps and metering, Compressor suction manifolds, compressor
suction drums and coolers, condensate recycle pumps, Gas KO drums, TEG contactor, TEG
regeneration package, Hydro-cyclone, induced gas flotation unit, Water filtration package,
Produced water storage and circulation pumps, Water injection deaerator package, water injection
pumps, closed drain drum and pumps, Vent collection header, Flare KO drum and pumps,
Instrument air, nitrogen generation unit, Emergency power generation unit, fire &gas detection
system and fire protection system, Fire water system, also facilitated with full size downstream
plant of refining complex, Drilling rig, drilling simulator, etc.
