We all have good and bad thoughts from time to time and situation to situation. We are bombarded daily with spiraling thoughts(both negative and positive) creating all-consuming feel , making us difficult to manage with associated suffering. Good thoughts are like our Mob Signal (Positive thought) amidst noise(negative thought) in the atmosphere. Negative thoughts like noise outweigh positive thoughts. These thoughts often create unwanted confusion, trouble, stress and frustration in our mind as well as chaos in our physical world. Negative thoughts are also known as “distorted thinking”.

Create an account, and then spend 5-7 minutes exploring what VoiceThread is and can do. Either browse published threads, or search for a key word.
Create tutorial of concept or process that can be used for preview or review. Changing the presentation from not allowing comments, to allowing comments with some guided questions allows students to go from consumers of information to producers. Reverse instruction = providing lecture overview outside of class time for students to review, comment, and ask questions on, and use class time to answer deeper questions and guide practice and other activities.Students can debate a topic in VoiceThread. Different slides for different points of view organize the information, and a rubric ensures that students have guidance about appropriate commenting.
This session is about diverse learners, so let’s look at some examples of ways in which VoiceThread can be used for students with hearing or vision challenges.Webcam capability means that students can sign their responses to an image or video.
VoiceThread Universal is a screen-reader capable VoiceThread viewer. Navigation and commenting are handled a bit differently so that screen readers can effectively navigate through the structure of the VoiceThread. Oral comments are played, and written comments can be read by the screen reader. Participation in a VoiceThread on the Universal side is limited to text commenting only. You can not create or edit a VoiceThread from within VoiceThread Universal.
Commenting is as simple as clicking record.
Gather Facts: Jot down things that are interesting and new to youMake Connections: Relate and compare things you are viewing and hearing to things that you already know.Ask Questions: What about the comments and presentation is confusing to you? What don’t you understand? How will you find the answer? Remember that there will ALWAYS be questions in an active thinker’s mind!Give Opinions: Make judgments about what you are viewing and hearing. Do you agree? Do you disagree? Like? Dislike? Do you support or oppose anything that you have heard or seen? Why?
