Level 4: Knowledgeable practitioner
Sees the situation as a whole and acts from personal conviction, invents and
introduces small scale innovations
Level 5: Expert
Has an intuitive understanding of the situation and zooms in on the central aspects,
has an easy and creative way of doing things, invents and introduces large scale
innovations

3. Technical
Leadership
- Serves as the company’s top technology expert and leader
- Manages the physical technology infrastructure including network and systems management
- Has to be a creative and innovative technologist to be successful
Business
Orientation
- Develops IT strategies in collaboration with Business to increase the company’s top line (revenue)
- Uses technology to enhance the company’s digital product offerings
- Provides effective means to Business to differentiate, to increase competitive advantage and to innovate
products
- Aligns the company’s product architecture with business priorities

- Collaborates and manages vendors that supply solutions to enhance the company’s product(s)
