8. DEFINITION:
The ‘cross – halving joint’ is a common wood
working joint mainly used in framework
constructions. These joints can be seen on the
strengthening rails of tables and chairs.
9. DEFINITION:
They are also moderately difficult to construct as
they consists of two channels that interlock and are
bonded together with adhesives instead of simply
just nailing or screwing them together.
