Our product is an arepa made from sweet corn and cheese. We chose to start this business to grow small initially with the idea of making arepas, a popular Colombian dish, more widely known internationally. We would like to export our arepas to the United States, Mexico, and Spain to introduce more people to this dish and capitalize on demand from Colombians living abroad as well as increased foreign interest in arepas and their production involves popular components. Research shows that arepas are a traditional Colombian food made from dried corn that is milled, cooked, and ground, demonstrating their cultural significance worth sharing globally.
