idea?
If the business idea is developed, I would like it
to be successful for its innovative presentation.
This business idea would be successful by
presentation of love helps us strong tradition of
selective collection of Café de Colombia, the
process of benefit or post harvest by the wet
process, the drying process and subsequent
classification by threshing guarantee optimum
product quality.
The Café de Colombia is undoubtedly an
outstanding coffee, and of us would like it to be
of the most prominent brands.
7. The export situation of the product
If not only producers but brand owners 100%
Colombian unite behind the product Café de
Colombia, I will like to make them more aware
of the importance of origin in a cafe not only
from the standpoint of quality but from the
point social and environmental terms.
If the recorded production of coffee in Colombia
grew 32% in the last twelve months (May 2013-
April 2014) and exceeded the 11.3 million bags
of 60 kilos compared to 8.5 million harvested in
the same previous period, then I wish the
outcome is in the best condition and state of
Colombian coffee.
8. The export situation of the product
So far this year on coffee crop of Colombia,
the largest producer of soft washed Arabica
coffee, grew 15 percent and stood at 3.5
million bags of 60 kilos, over 456,000 bags
compared to 3.1 million bags of coffee
produced in the same period of 2013.
The increased production and recovery of
international coffee prices, generated a
significant increase in the value of the crop,
and streamlining the income of the
inhabitants of 590 municipalities.
9. The export situation of the product
If the United States, Germany and Japan are the
main buyers of green coffee with a share of 64%
in the total exports from Colombia, then they
would be followed in importance by Canada,
Belgium and Luxembourg, Holland (Netherlands),
France, Sweden, Spain, Italy and the UK.
In relation to exports from the other two
products, the main buyers of unroasted coffee,
decaffeinated are the United States (74%) and
Spain (22%); the roasted coffee, decaffeinated,
ground are France (40%) and the US (17%).
Exports to France and Spain have important
positive growth rates.
