2. Character Profile- Hannah (protagonist)
Our protagonist is a young lady in her early 20s called hannah,
the person who is playing Hannah is 17 and is called Olivia. We
chose her because she fitted our character profile which was an
attractive young girl who will catch the eye of a male audience.
Furthermore the costume used for Olivia during the main ‘thriller
scene’ is sophisticated and is fairly dressed up which would also
catch the eye of a female audience and you would be able to
predict the outcome of a young girl walking through a forest
alone which would therefore build suspense. After the traumatic
event her whole outfit changes to a scruffy look and has gone
slightly mad therefore she wears tracksuit bottoms and a plain
top, also to add to the effect she has one shoe off to show she’s
slightly out of touch with her actions.

3. Costume for Bryan (antagonist)
Bryan is the psychiatrist in
our opening sequence
therefore he is going to wear
formal clothes preferably a
suit with a tie or perhaps
smart trousers white shirts
and a grey jumper this would
show his profession and
present his presences at a
high status due to the way he
dresses it also portrays that
he is well educated.

Hannah is originally a
classy elegant young
women who likes to look
nice for every occasion,
this therefore makes her a
more interesting and her
classy look would attract a
male figure. She wears
black trousers with black
shoes and a trench coat.
Although when her traumatic experience
happens, herself esteem dips so her fashion
sense is non existent. Which reflects the way
she's feeling at the time and that she has more
things on her mind than fashion. She wears
burgundy tracksuit bottoms and a plain black
top which highlights her insecurities.

5. Bryan (psychiatrist)
Mr alexander is starring as our psychiatrists (Bryan), we have set out his
costume to be someone wearing a suit which portrays a psychiatrist figure of
professional and intelligence. These are key conventions for our opening
sequence which inties conventions of our genre. We have also chosen to use
an older character as our psychiatrist as it is more realistic of a psychiatrist to
be an older man which highlights his past experience and knowledge. Also we
have directed him to be very serious and confident as this is how a real
psychiatrist is portrayed.
We chose a grown man for our psychiatrist as typically they are an older
person which would also make it believable. Furthermore, our actor had a build
which also symbolises maturity

6. (Woods)
We decided to film at a wooded area in ruislip gardens, as it was the closest area
of forest and was adequate for our specific scene as it portrays a rustic look. It
outlines the conventions of a typical thriller scene. We will also be filming in the
afternoon/evening as it will start getting darker at this time so it inties low key
lighting to fit the conventions. Also the background and diegetic sound effects of
footsteps help build tension. We will film when it's light out as we are able to
capture every shot, therefore we will use effects to create the low key lighting, as
we having got the right technology to use artificial lights.

7. Ruislip High School
We decided to use Ruislip High School as our psychiatrists room as we found an
adequate room that we would would be able to film in, originally we had an idea of
using ruislip library although we then realised that it wouldn't work well as there
wasn't a specific room that we could use.
The room we chose was a quiet separate room, with no windows. Which
automatically outlines important features a psychologists room should have as it
created the aspect of isolation. Also the fact that there was only two people in the
room, makes the audience focus on them specifically making sure there are no
distractions. We therefore thought this was an important and distinctive feature to
continue throughout.
