A condensation product CP was successfully synthesized from reaction of dimethyl amino benzaldehyde and aniline giving yields of 80 . The compound was characterized by Fourier Transform Infrared FTIR Spectroscopy. The corrosion inhibiting property of the CP on mild steel in HCl solution were investigated by the weight loss measurements, electrochemical impedance spectroscopy EIS and linear polarization resistance LPR . The concentrations of CP were varied from 1 x 10 3 M to 5 x 10 3 M. The inhibition efficiencies obtained from all the methods employed were in good agreement where the percentage of inhibition efficiencies increased with concentration of CP. Results showed that CP was the better inhibitor with inhibition efficiency of 90 at 5 x 10 3 M additive concentration. This is likely due to the effect of its large molecular size, higher number of electroactive heteroatoms and bigger p electron cloud of the conjugated double bond system. Corrosion inhibition nature of a synthesized Schiff’s base was studied on the corrosion of mild steel in 1.0 M HCl using weight loss and electrochemical methods. The results indicated that the synthesized Schiff base is an effective inhibitor in reducing the corrosion of mild steel in 1.0 M HCl solution. The inhibitive effects ofNewbouldiaLaevis (NL) leaf extract and magnetic field on copper corrosion in 0.5M H2SO4 aqueous solution were investigated experimentally by gravimetric technique and theoretically using Quantum Chemical calculations. The results show that both NL and the magnetic field caused reduction in corrosion rate. The inhibition efficiency increased with concentration. The magnetic field caused greater increase in the inhibition efficiency. Temperature increase caused a decrease in inhibition efficiency. The activation energy is low and oscillates, possibly due to error factor from non-linearity of the Arrhenius plot. Among the tested isotherms, Langmuir has the highest correlation coefficient of 0.9963 and 0.7935 with and without magnet field respectively. The magnetic field increased the change in free energy, caused the reaction to become spontaneous, one mole of the inhibitor to replace 4 moles of water mole while reducing the number of monolayer of the inhibitor on the metal. The quantum chemical calculations performed on newbouldiaquinone and lapacholconstituents of NL showed that lapachol contributed more to the inhibition efficiency due its low binding energy, high dipole moment, chemical softness and fractional electron transfer. The magnetic field and temperature played opposite roles.
The effect of ethanol extract of leaves of Conyza Dicorides plant on the corrosion inhibition
of mild steel in 1M HCl solution was investigated by weight loss and electrochemical polarization
techniques at temperature range (25–65 ̊C). The Results obtained showed that the percentage

The corrosion inhibition of ranitidine on mild steel in hydrochloric acid medium was studied employing chemical and electrochemical methods. The results showed that the studied compound possessed good interaction on the metal surface and control both anodic and cathodic reactions. Studies pertaining to the determination of corrosion rate, percentage inhibition efficiency and variation of inhibitor concentration and temperature for the corrosion control process. Both anodic and cathodic polarized potentials were measured under galvanostatic and linear polarization techniques. The corrosion current density, corrosion potentials, Tafel slops and percentage inhibition efficiency were calculated. Thermodynamic parameters for the adsorption process were calculated and interpreted. The percentage inhibition efficiency obtained from both the methods was good agreement with each other. The corrosion protection was explained on the basis of adsorption of inhibitors on the metal surface. Adsorption of a compound on the mild steel surface was confirmed by FTIR spectra.
Effect of Step Quenching and Tempering on the Corrosion Behaviour of a Low Ca...inventionjournals
The trust of this research is to critically examine the effect of step quenching and tempering on the corrosion performance of a low carbon steel in 0.1M HCl aqueous solution. The steel was first normalized at 850OC for 1 hour. This was followed by step quenching heat treatment, which involved austenitizing at 850OC followed by slow cooling in the furnace to and soaking at various temperatures in the (α + γ) region of 730OC, 750OC and 770OC for 30 minutes and then quenched in water. Some set of the samples were tempered for 1 hour at 320OC and air cooled. Samples were prepared for microscopic examination and corrosion performance evaluation from all the heat treatment procedures. The weight loss method was used to evaluate the corrosion rate. Volume fraction of martensite was measured for the as-quenched step quenched samples. From the results, it was observed that martensite volume fraction increased with increase in soaking temperature. The results also revealed that step quenching increases the susceptibility of the investigated steel to corrosion, while tempering the as-quenched step quenched steel reduces corrosion susceptibility. Hence, it was recommended that for applications of this material in chloride environment, tempering should always proceed step quenching.

This investigation is designed to apply an advanced kinetic-thermodynamic model on the experimental data obtained from acidic and alkaline corrosion of iron using mono- and bis-azo dyes as corrosion inhibitors. The inhibition properties of the tested azo dyes on corrosion of iron in HNO3 and NaOH media were analyzed by gravimetric, thermometric and polarization measurements. The three studied methods gave consistent results. Polarization study showed that all the inhibitors are mixed type in acidic, act mainly as cathodic in alkaline solution. The synthesized azo dye derivatives exhibit good inhibition properties, obeys the Frumkin adsorption isotherm. The large values of the change in the standard free energy of adsorption (∆Goads), equilibrium constant (Kads) and binding constant (Kb) revealed that the reactions proceed spontaneously and result in highly efficient physisorption mechanism and stronger electrical interaction between the double layer existing at the phase boundary and the adsorbing molecules. The inhibition efficiency depends on the number of adsorption oxygen sites (OH and OMe groups), their charge density and π-electron clouds. The inhibition efficiency evaluated via theoretical methods was well accorded with reported experimental ones, following the same order as: -naphthyl- ligand > -naphthyl>p-anisdine>p-toluidine >o-toluidine >m-toluidine derivative. This research might provide a theoretical inhibition performance evaluation approach for homologous inhibitors.

Abstract: The corrosion inhibition effect of surfactant, N,N-Dimethyl-N-(2-Phenoxyethyl)dodecan-1- aminiumbromide(DPDAB) on mild steel corrosion in 0.5M Sulphuric acid was investigated by weight loss, potentiodynamic polarization and Electrochemical impedance spectroscopic techniques. DPDAB is an excellent inhibitor and its inhibition efficiency increases with increase in concentration and maximum inhibition efficiency was observed above the critical micelle concentration (CMC). The polarization curves reveal that DPDAB acts as mixed type inhibitor with predominantly of anodic type. The corrosion inhibition efficiency of DPDAB increases with increase in concentration and decreases with increase in temperature from 298K to 308K and then increases and shows maxima at 318K and then decreases at 328K.. The adsorption of the inhibitor on the mild steel in 0.5M H2SO4 was found to obey Langmuir’s adsorption isotherm. Scanning electronic microscopy (SEM) confirmed the existence of an adsorbed protective film on the metal surface. The kinetic and thermodynamic parameters were calculated and discussed.

The inhibition effect of 1-hexyl-3-methylimidazolium chloride (HMIC) on the corrosion of mild
steel in 2M sulphuric acid solution has been investigated by weight loss. potentiodynamic polarization and

2M H2SO4 with addition of inhibitor was studied in weight loss method at the temperature range of 308-328 K.

Sulfuric acid is widely used in several industrial fields, such as acid pickling, acid cleaning and acid descaling, which cause serious corrosion issues. Especially, copper being widely applied in industrial is vulnerable to be corroded by the acid. The usage of corrosion inhibitor is one of the most important techniques for controlling the corrosion. Several organic inhibitors containing hetero-atom, π-electrons and double bond have been applied for the corrosion inhibition of copper, which are found to exhibit high inhibiting properties by providing electrons to interact with metal surface. However, the use of several heterocyclic inhibitors has caused negative impact on the environment due to their toxicity and non-biodegradability. In this paper, pyrazolo-pyrimidine derivatives are found to attract great attention owing to their eco-friendly properties. Corrosion inhibited properties of three pyrazolo-pyrimidine derivatives namely 4-amino pyrazolo-pyrimidine (APP), 3-bromine 4-amino pyrazolo-pyrimidine (Br-APP) and 3-iodine 4-amino pyrazolo-pyrimidine (I-APP) on copper in 0.5 M H2SO4 solution were studied using electrochemical method and surface analysis techniques. Corrosion of copper has been largely inhibited by the inhibitors and the inhibited efficiency increase with the augment of concentration. The adsorption isotherms were simulated to explore the adsorption mode of inhibitors. Furthermore, theoretical calculations were applied to research the mechanism of inhibitors on copper.

The anticorrosion performance of three pyrazolo-pyrimidine derivatives, namely, 4-amino pyrazolo-pyrimidine
(APP), 4-hydroxy pyrazolo-pyrimidine (HPP), and 4-mercapto pyrazolo-pyrimidine (MPP) on copper in 0.5M
H2SO4 solution have been investigated using electrochemical, surface analysis, as well as theoretical techniques.
The results indicate that these inhibitors have largely inhibited the corrosion of copper and the inhibition efficiency
increased with increasing concentration. Moreover, the inhibitors adsorb on copper surface following
Langmuir adsorption isotherm. XPS analysis were performed for describing the bonding characteristics between
inhibitors and copper substrate. Furthermore, DFT and molecular dynamics simulation calculations were applied
to further explain the anti-corrosion mechanism.

Abstract: In this research was the study effect of ethylthiazole-4-carboxylate as inhibitor on copper corrosion in 0.5M HCl acid by using weight loss and polarization methods, results showed of decrease corrosion current density and corrosion rate with increasing inhibitor concentration of corrosion at 30 C and corresponding increase the efficiency of inhibition and surface coverage, the same way for the temperature of 40 and 50 C , where efficiency decreases depending on the temperature increase. Increase the inhibitor concentration, increased energy both activation, enthalpy and free of adsorption and decreased entropy energy, and this shows that the inhibitor has good energy to activate the process of adsorption and desorption be chemical type from good type inhibitor. resistance of Ti6Al4V and ion implanted Ti6Al4V were investigated by an electrochemical test, at 370C in
normal saline solution. ICP-AES studies were carried out to determine amount of ions leached out from samples
when kept immersed in normal saline solution. The implanted samples showed variation in the corrosion
resistance and microhardness with varying fluences. The sample implanted at 1 X 1017 ions/cm2
showed an

Background and Objective Telehealth has become a well known tool for the delivery of health care in Saudi Arabia, and the perspective and knowledge of healthcare providers are influential in the implementation, adoption and advancement of the method. This systematic review was conducted to examine the current literature base regarding telehealth and the related healthcare professional perspective and knowledge in the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia. Materials and Methods This systematic review was conducted by searching 7 databases including, MEDLINE, CINHAL, Web of Science, Scopus, PubMed, PsycINFO, and ProQuest Central. Studies on healthcare practitioners telehealth knowledge and perspectives published in English in Saudi Arabia from 2000 to 2023 were included. Boland directed this comprehensive review. The researchers examined each connected study using the AXIS tool, which evaluates cross sectional systematic reviews. Narrative synthesis was used to summarise and convey the data. Results Out of 1840 search results, 10 studies were included. Positive outlook and limited knowledge among providers were seen across trials. Healthcare professionals like telehealth for its ability to improve quality, access, and delivery, save time and money, and be successful. Age, gender, occupation, and work experience also affect health workers knowledge. In Saudi Arabia, healthcare professionals face inadequate expert assistance, patient privacy, internet connection concerns, lack of training courses, lack of telehealth understanding, and high costs while performing telemedicine. Conclusions Healthcare practitioners telehealth perceptions and knowledge were examined in this systematic study. This research investigates the nexus between online discussions on Dr. B.R. Ambedkars ideals and their impact on social inclusion among college students in Gurugram, Haryana. Surveying 240 students from 12 government colleges, findings indicate that 65 actively engage in online discussions, with 80 demonstrating moderate to high awareness of Ambedkars ideals. Statistically significant correlations reveal that higher online engagement correlates with increased awareness p 0.05 and perceived social inclusion. Variations across colleges and a notable effect of college type on perceived social inclusion highlight the influence of contextual factors. Furthermore, the intersectional analysis underscores nuanced differences based on gender, caste, and socio economic status. This paper reports on a study which was conducted to investigate the role of mentoring and its influence on the effectiveness of the teaching of Physics in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. The study adopted the convergent parallel mixed methods design, focusing on respondents in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. Both quantitative and qualitative data were collected, analysed separately, and the results were compared to see if the findings confirm or disconfirm each other. The quantitative analysis found that majority of the respondents 72 of Physics teachers affirmed that they had more experienced colleagues as mentors to help build their confidence, improve their teaching, and help them improve their effectiveness and efficiency in guiding learners’ achievements. Only 28 of the respondents disagreed with these statements. With majority respondents 72 agreeing with the statements, it implies that in most secondary schools, experienced Physics teachers act as mentors to build teachers’ confidence in teaching and improving students’ learning. The interview qualitative data analysis summarized how secondary school Principals use meetings with mentors and mentees to promote mentorship in the school milieu. This has helped strengthen teachers’ classroom practices in secondary schools in the South West Region of Cameroon. With the results confirming each other, the study recommends that mentoring should focus on helping teachers employ social interactions and instructional practices feedback and clarity in teaching that have direct measurable impact on students’ learning achievements. Design Simulation and Hardware Construction of an Arduino Microcontroller Bas...ijtsrd
This study primarily focuses on the design of a high side buck converter using an Arduino microcontroller. The converter is specifically intended for use in DC DC applications, particularly in standalone solar PV systems where the PV output voltage exceeds the load or battery voltage. To evaluate the performance of the converter, simulation experiments are conducted using Proteus Software. These simulations provide insights into the input and output voltages, currents, powers, and efficiency under different state of charge SoC conditions of a 12V,70Ah rechargeable lead acid battery. Additionally, the hardware design of the converter is implemented, and practical data is collected through operation, monitoring, and recording. By comparing the simulation results with the practical results, the efficiency and performance of the designed converter are assessed. The findings indicate that while the buck converter is suitable for practical use in standalone PV systems, its efficiency is compromised due to a lower output current. Energy becomes sustainable if it meets the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. Some of the definitions of sustainable energy include the considerations of environmental aspects such as greenhouse gas emissions, social, and economic aspects such as energy poverty. Generally far more sustainable than fossil fuel are renewable energy sources such as wind, hydroelectric power, solar, and geothermal energy sources. Worthy of note is that some renewable energy projects, like the clearing of forests to produce biofuels, can cause severe environmental damage. The sustainability of nuclear power which is a low carbon source is highly debated because of concerns about radioactive waste, nuclear proliferation, and accidents. The switching from coal to natural gas has environmental benefits, including a lower climate impact, but could lead to delay in switching to more sustainable options. “Carbon capture and storage” can be built into power plants to remove the carbon dioxide CO2 emissions, but this technology is expensive and has rarely been implemented. Leading non renewable energy sources around the world is fossil fuels, coal, petroleum, and natural gas. Nuclear energy is usually considered another non renewable energy source, although nuclear energy itself is a renewable energy source, but the material used in nuclear power plants is not. This paper aims to outline the executive regulations, survey standards, and specifications required for the implementation of the Sudan Survey Act, and for regulating and organizing all surveying work activities in Sudan. The act has been discussed for more than 5 years. The Land Survey Act was initiated by the Sudan Survey Authority and all official legislations were headed by the Sudan Ministry of Justice till it was issued in 2022. The paper presents conceptual guidelines to be used for the Survey Act implementation and to regulate the survey work practice, standardizing the field surveys, processing, quality control, procedures, and the processes related to survey work carried out by the stakeholders and relevant authorities in Sudan. The conceptual guidelines are meant to improve the quality and harmonization of geospatial data and to aid decision making processes as well as geospatial information systems. The established comprehensive executive regulations will govern and regulate the implementation of the Sudan Survey Geomatics Act in all surveying and mapping practices undertaken by the Sudan Survey Authority SSA and state local survey departments for public or private sector organizations. The targeted standards and specifications include the reference frame, projection, coordinate systems, and the guidelines and specifications that must be followed in the field of survey work, processes, and mapping products. In the last few decades, there has been a growing awareness of the importance of geomatics activities and measurements on the Earths surface in space and time, together with observing and mapping the changes. In such cases, data must be captured promptly, standardized, and obtained with more accuracy and specified in much detail. Towards the Implementation of the Sudan Interpolated Geoid Model Khartoum Sta...ijtsrd
The discussions between ellipsoid and geoid have invoked many researchers during the recent decades, especially during the GNSS technology era, which had witnessed a great deal of development but still geoid undulation requires more investigations. To figure out a solution for Sudans local geoid, this research has tried to intake the possibility of determining the geoid model by following two approaches, gravimetric and geometrical geoid model determination, by making use of GNSS leveling benchmarks at Khartoum state. The Benchmarks are well distributed in the study area, in which, the horizontal coordinates and the height above the ellipsoid have been observed by GNSS while orthometric heights were carried out using precise leveling. The Global Geopotential Model GGM represented in EGM2008 has been exploited to figure out the geoid undulation at the benchmarks in the study area. This is followed by a fitting process, that has been done to suit the geoid undulation data which has been computed using GNSS leveling data and geoid undulation inspired by the EGM2008. Two geoid surfaces were created after the fitting process to ensure that they are identical and both of them could be counted for getting the same geoid undulation with an acceptable accuracy. In this respect, statistical operation played an important role in ensuring the consistency and integrity of the model by applying cross validation techniques splitting the data into training and testing datasets for building the geoid model and testing its eligibility. The geometrical solution for geoid undulation computation has been utilized by applying straightforward equations that facilitate the calculation of the geoid undulation directly through applying statistical techniques for the GNSS leveling data of the study area to get the common equation parameters values that could be utilized to calculate geoid undulation of any position in the study area within the claimed accuracy. Both systems were checked and proved eligible to be used within the study area with acceptable accuracy which may contribute to solving the geoid undulation problem in the Khartoum area, and be further generalized to determine the geoid model over the entire country, and this could be considered in the future, for regional and continental geoid model. and a thermometer. Few drops of concentrated HCl were
added to catalyze the reaction The reaction mixture was
heated to 60-70oC for 4h and then the formed precipitate
was filtered, washed several times and driedina desiccators
over calcium hydroxide.
Characterization of condensation product:
The products were purified and its structure was confirmed
by (FTIR) spectroscopy and elemental analysis. FT-IR
spectra of the compound was recordedonaShimadzu-FTIR-
8400S Spectrometer in a range of 4000-400 cm-1 using KBr
pellets. The chemical structure of the prepared compoundis
confirmed by the FTIR spectroscopy. The bandat1585.6cm-
1 and 3070 cm-1 represents -CH=N-and ArCH respectively.
The band at 1624 cm-1 was corresponded to the stretching
vibration of C=O and that at 1150 cm-1 was the vibration of
C-N. The band at 1381 cm-1 was the absorption of C-O, and
that at 1014 cm-1 was ascribed to the -CH group. The band at
1501 ascribed to the C=C group. However, the bands at the
band at 2920 cm-1 was attributed to - CH2.
Weight loss measurements
Weight loss measurements were carried out in a glass cell.
The test specimens were used in the form of sheets of
dimensions 7×3×0.4 cm, the specimens were first
mechanically polished by sequence of grinding with emery
paper from 320 to 1200 grit to obtain a smooth surface,
mirror finish and degreased with acetone, thenwashed with
double distilled water, and finally dried between two filter
papers and weighed. The test specimens were suspended by
suiTableglass hooks at the edge of the basin containing 0.1,
0.2 and 0.3 M acid solution, and under the surface of the test
solution by about 1cm.
After specified time of immersion specimens were takenout
of the test solution, then rinsed with distilled water, dried as
before and weighed again in the absence and presence of
inhibitor. The average weight loss at a certain time for each
set of three samples was taken in mg cm-2 and recorded. All
experimental were carried out at 25, 50 and 75 ± 1°C. The
percent inhibition efficiency was calculated using the
following relationship.

Electrochemical Techniques
Galvanostatic Polarization studies:
For polarization study, mild steel specimens wereimmersed
in 100 ml HCl solution without and with the condensation
product. The test cell includes the metal specimen as a
working electrode, corrosive solutioninwhichthespecimen
was to be tested and saturated calomel electrode (SCE) as a
reference electrode as well as Platinum electrode as an
auxiliary electrode. The polarization study was made by
using the above electrodes in a conventional three
compartment cell and a DC power supply (Tektronix 36B).
Polarization curves were plotted with potential against log
current density (called Tafel plots). Cathodic and anodic
polarization curves give cathodic and anodic Tafel lines
correspondingly. The intersect point of cathodic and anodic
Tafel lines gives the corrosion current (Icorr) and the
corrosion potential (Ecorr) [13]. The percentage inhibition
efficiency %IE was calculated using the relationship,

The electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS) studies:
The electrochemical impedance spectra of mild steel in
absence and presence of various concentrationsofinhibitors
at 30°C is presented as Nyquist plot. The experimental data
and calculated inhibition efficiency are summarized. The
%IE at different concentration of each inhibitor in 1M HCl
were calculated from the corresponding electrochemical

impedance response ofzinc has significantlyalteredafter the
addition of inhibitors to the corrosive solutions. The RP
values were used to calculate the inhibition efficiencies,

To study the effect of temperature on corrosion of mild steel
in 1M HCl, the specimens were immersed in 100 ml of
corrosive solution and corrosion loss was determined at
solution at temperature for an immersion period of 2 h with
and without inhibitors.
III. RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
Weight loss measurements:
Table1 shows the variation of weight-loss and inhibition
efficiencies (%IE) with the concentrations of CP. The weight
loss decreased with increasing CP concentration. The
maximum inhibition efficiency, of 93% was observed at
5×10-3M of CP and no change in %IE occurred above this
concentration.
The protection efficiency (%IE) decreased with increase in
acid concentration. This may be attributed to the increased
hydrogen evolution and consequent stripping of the
adsorbed compound from the metal surface [14]. Table2
presents the influence of acid and CP concentration on %IE.
For a given strength of CP, %IE decreased slightly with acid
strength. But for the same acid strength the %IE were
directly depended on CP concentration.

Galvanostatic Polarization studies:
Galvanostatic polarization measurements have been carried out to pool information concerning the kinetics of anodic and
cathodic reactions. The polarization curves for mild steel in 1M hydrochloric acid solution in the absence and presence of
various concentrations of the inhibitor molecules are shown in Fig.1. The values of electrochemical kinetic parameters, like
corrosion current density (Icorr), corrosion current (Icorr), corrosionpotential(Ecorr),anodicandcathodicTafelslopes (ba andbc)
and percentage inhibition efficiency (%IE), determined from these graphs by extrapolation method are listed inTable3.From
the Tafel slopes, it clear that the corrosion inhibition efficiency is higher in the presence of CP. The Icorr values decreased
significantly with increase in CP concentration. The corrosion potential (Ecorr) shifted in the more positive direction in the
presence of additive.

Inspection of Fig.1 shows that the addition of CP has an inhibitive effect on both anodic and cathodic parts of the polarization
curves and shifts both the anodic and cathodic curves to lower current densities. This may be ascribed to adsorption of the
inhibitor over the metal surface. Therefore, CP can be considered as a mixed type inhibitor, which implies that the corrosion
protection is mainly due to interaction of CP by simple blocking of the active sites of the metal surface.
The adsorption of compound leads to the formation of a surface film and thus provides a barrier between metal and acid [15].
This indicates that the compound is a good surface modifier for the corrosion protection of steel in HCl medium.

The electrochemical impedance spectra (EIS) studies:
The corrosion behaviors of carbon steel in 1 M HCl in the presence and absence of the synthesizedinhibitors wereinvestigated
using EIS at 25°C. Fig.2 show that the Nyquist plots of mild steel in 1 M HCl solution withandwithoutvarious concentrations of
inhibitors.

It is clear from these plots that the impedance response of mild steel has significantly changedafteradditionofthesynthesized
inhibitors in the corrosive media. This indicates that the impedance of an inhibited substrate increases with increasing
concentration of inhibitor in 1 M HCl.

Various impedance parameters such as solution resistance (Rs), polarization resistance (Rp) and inhibition efficiency were
calculated and listed in Table3. The Table3 illustrates the Rp values increase, with the inhibitor concentration increment and
hence the inhibition efficiency increases and reaches 90% at 5mM concentrationoftheinhibitor.This increaseintheefficiency
of inhibition may be due to an increase in the surface coverage of inhibitor or may be due to the increase inthethickness ofthe
electrical double layer, which suggests that, the inhibitor molecules act by adsorption at the metal/solution interface [16].
Adsorption isotherm
Adsorption isotherm can explain the adsorptive behavior of a corrosion inhibitor where it provides important informationon
the nature of the metal-inhibitor interaction. Several adsorption isotherms were tested for the description of adsorption
behavior of studied compounds and it was found to obey the Langmuir adsorption isotherm. The surface coverage, θ, for
various concentrations of the inhibitor was been calculated and the plot of C/θ vs. C, which gives straight lines as shown in
Fig.3. The strong correlation (R2 =0.9946) confirms the validity of this approach. Experimental results are in good agreement
with Langmuir adsorption isotherm shown in the following equation;
where Cinh is the inhibitor concentration and Kads is the adsorption equilibrium constant.

The value of Kads is found to be 14.5 x 103. The increasing value of Kads shows increasing adsorption capability of the inhibitor
on metal surface [17]. The Kads is also related to the standard free energy of adsorption (ΔGads) according to the equation;
where R is the universal gas constant (J mol-1 K-1), T the absolute temperature(K) and55.5 thevalueformolarconcentrationof
water in solution (mol L-1).
The values obtained were -35.8 kJ/mol for the inhibitor and the decreasing value of ΔGads indicates the increasing adsorption
capability and the negative values show spontaneous adsorption of inhibitor molecule on metal surface.
The inhibition of active dissolution of metal in acidic media is due to the adsorption of inhibitor on metal surface forming
protective layers through electron transfer from adsorbed species to vacant orbitals of low energyinmetaltoformcoordinate
type link [18]. The more efficient adsorption of inhibitor is attributed to the increasein electrondensityfromthepresenceofN
and O atoms, heterocyclic and aromatic ring that form effective adsorption on the metal surface.
IV. CONCLUSION
The condensation product was successfully synthesizedand
characterized. Corrosion inhibition investigations showed
that the corrosion rate was found to be decreased with an
increase in CP concentration and the compound display
inhibitor properties. The presence of hetero atoms and π
electrons affected more surface coverage on mild steel and
higher electron density thatpromotedefficient adsorptionof
the inhibitor on mild steel. The Tafel plots showed that the
compounds act as a mixed type of inhibitor. Polarization
resistance values of solution with the inhibitor molecules
obtained from EIS spectra were found to be increasing with
increasing inhibitor concentration. The adsorption of the
molecule on mild steel surface followed Langmuir isotherm
at room temperature at all the concentrations studied. The
inhibitor molecules adsorbed on the metal surface blocking
the active sites. Higher surface coverageonthemetal surface
was obtained with higher inhibitor concentrations.
