What we do
Our flagship product, NAAVS (Nultan
Automatic Airtime Vending Solution)
is a custom built PIN based universal
airtime solution, that combines
integration of mobile phone operators
with advanced software that enables
our Client’ consumers redeem airtime,
in real time, during sales promotions
irrespective of the GSM Network that
the consumer uses.
NAAVS Features
• Secured PIN based solution
• Premium SMS/ Short code based redemption trigger
•Universal & Real time airtime redemption
• GSM Networks only
• Live Reporting/Analytics
Secured PIN Based solution
• Secured algorithm based X digit
PINS with designated airtime values
(e.g. N100; minimum of N50) are
made available to clients for insertion
on promoted products.
• Client must ensure security of PINs
once in custody as abuse of PIN by
client employees at point of insertion
on products have been noted in past
campaigns.
• PINs are inactive until client
requests that they be activated & can
not be de-activated once activated.
Premium SMS/Short Code Redemption
Trigger
Users initiate airtime redemption by sending an SMS containing PIN to a
designated premium short code (4 or 5 digits). There are 2 options available:
• User Billing short-code: Users are billed N10 for every SMS sent by their
respective operators. This is already set up and campaign can commence
immediately.
• Client Billing short-code: Client may decide to pay for the SMS sent by users
and this costs requires advance payment for Short code, custom SMS, dedicated
platform set up. This set up takes 7 weeks.
Universal & Real Time Airtime Redemption
• Users are able to redeem
designated airtime with the
same PIN irrespective of the
GSM operator (in Nigeria) that
they use.
• Airtime redemption is also in
real-time i.e. few seconds after
the user successfully sends the
correct PIN to the correct short
code.
GSM Networks Only
• NAAVS, on the Zero-rated (Client billed) platform, is only
applicable to the four GSM operators in Nigeria: MTN, Airtel,
Glo & Etisalat.
• NAAVS, on the Rated (User billed) platform applies to all the
four GSM networks and also Visaphone and starcomms.
•Entries from Multilinks would be invalid entries.
Live Reporting/Analytics
• Clients are able to monitor
entries as they are made by users.
This ensures full visibility over
campaign performance as well as
control over spend.
• Analytics allows client see
progress of campaign for on time
decision making on additional
measures to ensure attainment of
campaign objectives (data driven
decisions)
• Clients get to have a database of
the phone numbers of their actual
consumers for future
engagements. Phone numbers can
be downloaded to MS Excel.
Our Clients
Limitations & Measures
• 98% real time airtime redemption rate
within seconds. 1 % delayed for not more
than 24 hours due to general network
challenges in Nigeria beyond our control.
• 1% invalid entries due to user error &/or
abuse (wrong PIN, used PIN, SMS not sent
because user doesn’t have up N10 balance or
no network, SMS sent to wrong short code
etc).
• Measures taken to address these
limitations include our Customer Service
team dedicated to resolving complaints from
the 2% within work hours by phone, live chat
and email. Client is given an option of
paying for a toll free service for its users with
complaints.
