A creative person may struggle to survive in a corporate environment for several reasons: 1. Efficient work is often met with increased responsibilities and tasks outside of one's initial role. 2. Politics and favoritism sometimes determine who receives credit rather than individual merit. 3. Unnecessary communications and processes can waste significant time that could be spent on meaningful work. Working alone and extra hours may go unappreciated.

good has ever come out of them, really. Most
people aren’t listening, and the ones talking are
far away from reality.

 But meritocracy is. There will be times when
undeserving people will get credit for the work
you do, simply because they are higher up on
the corporate ladder.

countless people who want to feel important,
before you can actually start working. And more
often than not, you will end up doing everything
yourself.
