 The purpose of content marketing is to attract new
customers but also to retain them through consistent
curation and distrubtion of content which is relevant and
valuable, thereby having a strong impact on consumer
behavior in terms of either enhancing or changing that
behavior.
 A bit long-winded, but pertinent all the same.
 It’s not a short-term process, however. Instead, it’s ongoing
and it ought to be integrated into an overall marketing
strategy for best effect. Further, the key focus is not upon
renting media space but rather, it’s upon owning it.

should be asking here is: Do you really require a content marketing strategy?
 The short answer to that is yes, you do! If you’re looking to go into content

 Furthermore, and once again, according to the Content Marketing Institute, you
also need to document your content marketing strategy.
 Through documentation the following will occur:
 • You’ll likely consider yourself as far more effective at content marketing.
 • You’ll not feel overwhelmed while you develop your strategy.
 • You’ll feel more adept not only at content marketing tactics, but also when
using social media channels.

here, let’s merely focus on the one example to highlight how an
effective content marketing campaign can really appeal to the masses.

 An already popular brand, Hootsuite is recognized globally for its social
media management system.
 What Hootsuite did was to release a video which was named A Game of
Social Thrones.
 The video gained leviathan popularity due to its timely release which
coincided with the success of the melodrama series, Game of Thrones.
 If you’re not familiar with Game of Thrones, think British, think lots of

 Hootsuite, the company, was fully aware that many
potential subscribers to its services were avid viewers of
