Re: Recommendation for Connie Meyer
To Whom it May Concern:
lam writing in regards to Connie Meyer, who was employed with Stress Engineering Services (SES) from the
Fall of2008 until June of2016. I was very fortunate to work with Connie, serving as her peer from my start
date in October 2008 until the end ofher tenure with SES. She is a driven and organized professional who
brings with her dynamic skill seta positive attitude and a willingness to take on any challenge or learn any
function that you may ask ofher. She is a unique asset in that she is able to work both in a self-directed
capacity as well as in a team setting, switching gears seamlessly to adapt to the demands ofthe challenge, task
or problem at hand. The position that Connie held as ofher departure from SES was that ofOffice Manager,
which is a role ofgreat central importance to our Louisiana offices' administrative, accounting, quality
assurance and customer service functions.
In Connie's time with SES, she worked tirelessly as a resource for both the Baton Rouge and New Orleans
offices. Her commitment to the company lead her to make the commute between the two cities when the
offices were consolidated in 2015 - a sacrifice which undoubtedly required compromises in her obligations
outside ofwork Connie is a person on whom I have called when I needed a sounding board for support in
running the Cincinnati office (which I did as Office Manager until April 2015) as well as in my development of
the corporate operations infrastructure (which I have done as Operations Manager sinceApril 2015). Her
candid feedback has been invaluable to me, especially as my job role has experienced much re-organization,
change, and growth during my tenure with SES. I am fortunate to have worked with Connie, as she has made
it her business to understand the needs ofher office location inside and out, thus effectively supporting its
day to day operations with her diligence as well as her recommendations for process improvement
Connie has a wealth ofadministrative and managerial experience - effectively adding value to the tasks
associated with client invoicing, accounts receivable support, client/ vendor maintenance, project reporting /
purchasing, quality assurance policy implementation, and customer satisfaction administration. It is her
thorough attention to detail, her self-directed work style, her commitment to work quality and hervery in-
depth approach to troubleshootingwhich lend to her success in any endeavor or task that she is assigned.
Connie is a verywell rounded and experienced professional, butwhat's more than that, she is a trusted
colleague whose input has been valuable to me overthe years.
I truly wish Connie the best in the next chapter ofher career and knowthat she will be a successful part of
any organization with which she is offered employment. Ifyou would like to further discuss the skills and
qualifications ofConnie Meyer, do not hesitate to contact me atyour convenience.
Best Regards,

To Whom It May Concern:
I am writing this letter ofrecommendation for Connie Meyer who worked as the office manager
for Stress Engineering Services Baton Rouge office. Connie first started in January 2009 while I
was in charge ofthe consulting engineering office and remained in that capacity until I retired in
2015. After I retired the role was expanded to include other functions.
Soon after her starting date, the Baton Rouge office was relocated from Pecue Lane to Siegen
Lane. Connie was instrumental in finding prospective sites and in coordinating the move and
getting all ofthe services upgraded to the specifications provided by headquarters. She quickly
learned the daily job requirements and built strong relationships with key personnel in the
Houston headquarters. This served to smoothly integrate our smaller office into the mainstream
ofthe plant services group at the headquarters in Houston. Connie is a very people oriented
person who made both new and existing clients feel comfortable in working with Stress
Engineering Services. She has a great positive attitude and is willing to assist in any way she
can. As an example, she maintained her safety training and was willing to accompany engineers
into the plant wearing her Nomex and pink hard hat to help with data collection and other
functions.
In summary, it was a pleasure to work with Connie and I would highly recommend her as an
office manager or any job which requires someone with a positive attitude and a very people
oriented person. She willingly worked overtime to meet the needs ofthe Baton Rouge office.
I hope that this letter will provide insight into Connie's capabilities. Ifyou would like to discuss
anything in more detail or have a question please feel free to contact me either by email
(mwguillot@cox.net) or by phone (225-400-3167). Good luck in your decision, I hope that you
give Connie careful consideration.
Sincerely,
Michael Guillot, P.E., Ph.D.

Recommendation Letter
June 17, 2016
Re: Connie Meyer
I had the pleasure of being one of Connie Meyer's colleagues, for over 5 years, when she
served as dual office manager for Stress Engineering Services' Baton Rouge and New Orleans
offices. I strongly recommend Connie for any job that requires quick thinking, great
organizational skills and apleasant demeanor when working with people.
Connie has extensive experience with contract review for clients, vendors and localities
for events. Her ability to juggle multiple tasks and still complete all her projects in a timely
manner is a skill that cannot be easily taught. Due to the nature of Connie's position and the
sensitive information accessible to her, it was imperative that Stress had complete confidence
that Connie would keep all information confidential. Connie never wavered once when it crune
to confidential information.
Any company that hires Connie will find their money well spent.
Sincerely,
