I started an online home based gift basket business that catered to the individual and corporate gift industry. I
created an ecommerce website o sell gift baskets for all occasions. On the website were basket concepts that I
would create and ship to customers nationwide. I attend wholesale gift shows to chose and purchase
merchandise for all of the gift baskets. Baskets were marketed and sold via catalog and e-commerce. Met with
corporate customers to review their gift needs for the year and customized baskets in their budget and theme. I
handled all of the marketing, administrative, production, and product development for the company. This was
mainly a seasonal business that allowed me to work from home while my children were young.

Help start a general contracting business with my husband. Filed paperwork for incorporation, interview and
hire new sub-contractors, meet with potential clients, order materials, set up budgets, review plans and bid

permits, and estimate projects. As my children became more independent it was time to seek employment
outside the home.

Responsibilities included having an understanding of triage, which is prioritizing injuries based on medical need,
have the ability to make quick and accurate assessments about incoming patients, including both physical and
mental health conditions, quickly ascertaining and identifying the medical problem of a patient by
documentation of medical history, checking for any allergies and current medications, obtain height, weight,
body temperature, heart rate and blood pressure. Other responsibilities include moving patients, taking blood
samples, cleaning and bandaging wounds, administering medications and maintaining proper supplies of
medical equipment. The reason for leaving my nursing position was to stay home and raise my children.
