This document provides an overview of a connected car platform developed by Smart Driving Labs for Toyota Tsusho Corporation. The platform uses an onboard device connected to the vehicle's OBD2 port to gather real-time data on location, driving behavior, and vehicle diagnostics. This data is stored securely in the cloud and can be accessed through APIs and SDKs. Features of the platform include remote monitoring and control, over-the-air updates, usage-based insurance programs, fleet management tools, and modular integration with external systems. Several case studies demonstrate how the platform has been implemented for clients in applications like test vehicle analytics, connected car integration in vehicle manufacturing, and smart leasing programs.

Within the framework of the Rolf project: smart service,
all vehicles of the Rolf Group are equipped with an Ele-
ment telematics system and are connected to our plat-
form.
Car owners receive a connected car, and dealerships -
the ability to carry out personalized communication with

Insurance companies provide discounts of up to 65% for the entire cost of
the hull insurance upon the installation of the Element system. Depending
on the conditions of the program, the size of the insurance premium can be
influenced by the assessment of driving, mileage limitation, conditions of
use of the car (time of day, territory and frequency of trips).
Such programs are most attractive for young drivers who do not have an
