- 3. By looking at a range of film openings, I can immediately identify that the credits appear in groups/clusters ether halfway through the first scene or at the beginning. Animation/typography is used to help create the mood of the film, an example of this is ‘The Lion King’.
- 4. The sound used in all five openings vary in tone and pitch. Woman In Black has a more frequent change though, with the tone increasing, to help create a eerie tense mood and atmosphere.
- 5. Film openings are constructed to help portray and deliver the mood/atmosphere. By the use of all conventions the producers can create a film opening that endorses and engages their audience.
