2. ABOUT US
We are a high school club that is operated by high school
student just like yourself! In this club, you will expand your
knowledge on computers and the basics of PC. We’ll explore
different career fields that involve computers and
technology as well as take exciting trips to facilities about
technology and computers.

3. CLUB FEES
• New membership fees: $15.00
• Returning membership fees: $5.00

What do these fees go for?
• Club equipment
• Trips
• Club tee-shirts
•
Field trip fees are usually $20.00 or less as fundraisers help pay for the rest
•
T-Shirts are not necessary but if you do purchase one, you will be expected to pay $3.00.
•
Any broken equipment is paid by the one who broke it or in some cases, the club will fund it.
•
Any stolen equipment is paid for by the club, unless item is returned.

5. LEADERSHIP ROLES
• President: Primary responsibilities include overall supervision and operation of club.
President is at all club meetings and holds all club meetings. Establish goals for the club, with
help of other members. Decides who joins the club.
• Some Skills needed for this job: Conflict resolution, team leading, strategy planning, time
management, guidance
• Vice President: Involved in everything the President does but also helps individual members
of the club progress to their own goals. Implements and organizes meeting schedules to
include speeches and other necessary events and club objectives.
• Some skills needed for this job: Conflict resolution, scheduling, strategy planning, personnel
development, training and networking

6. LEADERSHIP ROLES
• Secretary: Club’s record keeper. Keeps records of new membership applications, updates
membership applications, any supply orders and past records. Also time keeper/recorder for
club meetings
• Some skills needed for this job: Reporting, Historian, Research
• Treasurer: Manages club’s finances. In charge of membership fees and other other fees for
the club
• Some skills needed for this job: Money management, purchasing and consultation, budgeting

7. CLUB RULES
• 1: Membership fees must be paid before entering the club
• 2: New members must fill out new membership application while returning members just pay membership
fee, unless things need to be updated.
• 3. Must maintain decent grades, C- average
• 4. Respect club officers and other members
• 5. Profane language and fighting are not tolerated.
• 6. If doing something club related (a trip, fundraiser) dress formally and appropriately
• 7. Do not destroy, abuse or steal any club equipment, such as laptops. If caught stealing, you are
automatically removed from the club. If you abuse equipment, you pay for it.
• 8. If you’re removed/quit from the club, you do not get a refund of your membership admission.
• 9. We can deny/accept entry to anyone.
• 10. Having problems? Consult with the Vice President.
• 11. If meetings are mandatory, you MUST attend or forfeit your club membership.
