The document provides information about the Acer Nitro 5 gaming laptop, including its specifications and features. It introduces Acer as a company founded in Taiwan in 1976 that initially distributed electronics parts before becoming a significant PC manufacturer. It then provides details about the Acer Nitro 5 model such as its operating system, display, connectivity, memory, physical dimensions, processor, storage, and sound technology.
1. Introduction of Acer Nitro 5:
•Acer was founded by Stan Shih and a group of five others as Multitech in 1976,
headquartered in Hsinchu City, Taiwan.
•The company began with eleven employees and US$25,000 in capital. Initially, it
was primarily a distributor of electronic parts and a consultant in the use of
microprocessor technologies.
• It produced the Micro-Professor MPF-I training kit, then two Apple II clones; the

4. Memory Organization:-
• The memory hierarchy system consists of all storage devices
contained in a computer system from the slow Auxiliary Memory to
fast Main Memory and to smaller Cache memory. Auxillary memory
access time is generally 1000 times that of the main memory, hence it
is at the bottom of the hierarchy.
Memory Hierarchy
5. • Auxillary memory access time is generally 1000 times that of the
main memory, hence it is at the bottom of the hierarchy.
• The main memory occupies the central position because it is
equipped to communicate directly with the CPU and with auxiliary
memory devices through Input/output processor (I/O).
6. Control Unit:-
• The control unit (CU) is a component of a computer's central
processing unit (CPU) that directs the operation of the
processor.
• It tells the computer's memory, arithmetic and logic unit and
input and output devices how to respond to the instructions that
have been sent to the processor.
7. I/O Mechanism:-
• The process of giving input to computer and giving output from
computer is called input/ output. The mechanism almost same
for input and output. The operating system is mainly responsible
for input output operating interrupt and error handling is
important terms related to input/outputs.
• I/O devices are the pieces of hardware used by a human (or other
system) to communicate with a computer.
• For instance, a keyboard or computer mouse is an input device
for a computer, while monitors and printers are output devices.
