Thermal Energy on Water and Oil placed Squeezed Carreau Nanofluids FlowMOHAMMED FAYYADH
this research work is focused on the numerical study regarding Carreau nanofluids’ squeezed flow via a permeable sensor surface. The nanofluids’ thermal conductivity is considered to be dependent on temperature. A convenient transformation is employed to reorganize governing equations into ordinary differential equations. The Runge–Kutta method and shooting technique are employed to accurately solve the boundary layer momentum as well as heat equations. Graphical and tabular aids are used to evaluate the solutions of applicable parameter with regards to temperature as well as the rate of heat transfer. In this work, a comparison is done from three nanofluids, i.e. copper, oxide aluminum and SWCNTs (nanoparticles) based fluids (water, crude oil and ethylene glycol) to improve heat transfer. It is found that the temperature dimensionless was dropped and dominated with the squeezed flow parameter and nanoparticle volume fraction parameter. That is for all nanomaterials. When compared with water and ethylene glycol, crude oil is cooler and a thinner thermal boundary layer is presented. For the rate of heat transfer (Nusselt number) was higher in: Ethylene glycol- SWCNT with high permeable velocity parameter 0.2, Ethylene glycol- SWCNT with low squeeze flow parameter 0.1 and Ethylene glycol- oxide aluminum with low nanoparticle volume fraction 0.05
MHD Convection Flow of Kuvshinski Fluid past an Infinite Vertical Porous Plat...rahulmonikasharma
An unsteady MHD free convective flow of a viscous incompressible visco-elastic fluid through a porous medium in the presence of radiation and chemical reaction effects are considered. The governing non-linear partial differential equations of the flow, heat and mass transfer are transformed into ordinary differential equations by using similarity transformations and then solved by two term perturbation technique. The effects of various flow parameters on velocity, temperature and concentration profiles as well as the skin-friction, Nusselt number and Shear wood number are discussed qualitatively and discussed graphically.
A review of pre combustion co2 capture in igcceSAT Journals
Abstract Integrated Gasification Combined Cycle (IGCC) with Pre-combustion has many advantages over post and oxy-combustion systems. This is because the CO2 will be at higher pressure (requires smaller equipment) thereby making the separation process efficient and easy for sequestration. However the challenges remain to exploit this technology are; (i) it can only be applied for new plants since the separation process becomes integral part of combustion (results in higher down times), and existing plant cannot be retrofitted, (ii) the technology is not as mature as other counterparts and cannot be applied for large scale power production, (iii) higher energy penalty due to cooling of syngas for CO2 separation with conventional methods. These issues have led worldwide researchers to focus on overcoming the challenges and make the technology of future. From the research of past decade, it is evident that CO2separation by adsorbents is best choice. Due to inherent disadvantages of process such as limited operating temperatures, recovery and purity of CO2, recovery ®eneration energy penalty, much of research in focused on developing enhanced adsorbents and processes. In this paper we present different techniques and materials developed by researchers in the past decade and also present future scope for pre-combustion capture applied to IGCC. Keywords: pre-combustion, post-combustion, oxy-combustion, adsorption, CO2 capture, IGCC

"We are not Object-Oriented anymore" by Matteo Collina
All of you have been taught that GOOD code is Object Oriented. Why do you find so difficult to write distributed code? Why should be that hard to move a piece of code from the current machines to another? With this talk will explore what Object Oriented code is good and not good for, and why the node.js is an extremely good fit for microservices architectures.

This policy report, entitled ‘Global Sustainable City-Regions,’ covers the work developed by the lecturer, Dr Igor Calzada, MBA, as the editor of the publication and students/participants of the first edition of the New Masters course MSc in Leadership for Global Sustainable Cities from September to December 2015 at the Institute for Future Cities in the Business Faculty at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow (Scotland - UK).
Specifically, this policy report follows a two-sequential-module structure:
• The first module, entitled ‘Global Cities: Sustainability and Society,’ consists of six methodological units.
• Thereafter, the second module, entitled ‘Public Policy, Governance and Strategic Change in Cities,’ consists of five methodological units.
The policy report focuses on three urban global issues in a comparative basis. The MSc was developed in a team-based dynamic by applying qualitative action research methodologies to understand and interpret each case and to benchmark and contrast with other cases that addressed the same global urban issue.
The cases were selected jointly by the lecturer and the students/participants in a dynamic process in order to achieve a suitable selection of cases that would allow them to:
• arrange groups around one specific global urban issue,
• compare cases around the same specific urban issue, and
• produce a full case study by applying the two-sequential-module methodology.
As a result, the following three global urban issues and seven Global Sustainable City-Region case studies were selected. Each student/participant worked on each of them, as follows:
Global Southerners
Mumbai (Kirsten MacDonald)
Shenzhen (Ning Qiu)
Resilient Contradictors
Reykjavik/Iceland (Christopher Dynes)
Portland/Oregon (Gemma Murray)
Budapest (Nikolett Watson-Puskás)
Regional Networkers

Thin Film Pressure Estimation of Argon and Water using LAMMPSCSCJournals
In this work, we investigate the pressure and density characteristics of water film when simulated using the emerging technique called many body dissipative particle dynamics method. This work also layout the methodology of estimating local pressure from LAMMPS simulation using Harasima scheme. Using the triangular shaped cloud interpolation function, pressure and density are estimated at local bins and compared with the experimental database. Our results show good agreement for the molecular dynamics results of the argon system, while the many body dissipative particle model fails to simulate the water properties at room temperature. In its current form, the many body dissipative particle method cannot be used for accurate liquid vapor interfacial simulations and heat transfer studies.
Almost the same as the talk given to Ph.D. students one year ago. It covers the problem of research reproducibility and the tools for doing it. First comes some "theoretical" arguments, then the enumeration of some tools.

Automobile Management System Project Report.pdfKamal Acharya
The proposed project is developed to manage the automobile in the automobile dealer company. The main module in this project is login, automobile management, customer management, sales, complaints and reports. The first module is the login. The automobile showroom owner should login to the project for usage. The username and password are verified and if it is correct, next form opens. If the username and password are not correct, it shows the error message.
When a customer search for a automobile, if the automobile is available, they will be taken to a page that shows the details of the automobile including automobile name, automobile ID, quantity, price etc. “Automobile Management System” is useful for maintaining automobiles, customers effectively and hence helps for establishing good relation between customer and automobile organization. It contains various customized modules for effectively maintaining automobiles and stock information accurately and safely.
When the automobile is sold to the customer, stock will be reduced automatically. When a new purchase is made, stock will be increased automatically. While selecting automobiles for sale, the proposed software will automatically check for total number of available stock of that particular item, if the total stock of that particular item is less than 5, software will notify the user to purchase the particular item.
Also when the user tries to sale items which are not in stock, the system will prompt the user that the stock is not enough. Customers of this system can search for a automobile; can purchase a automobile easily by selecting fast. On the other hand the stock of automobiles can be maintained perfectly by the automobile shop manager overcoming the drawbacks of existing system.

Immunizing Image Classifiers Against Localized Adversary Attacksgerogepatton
This paper addresses the vulnerability of deep learning models, particularly convolutional neural networks
(CNN)s, to adversarial attacks and presents a proactive training technique designed to counter them. We
introduce a novel volumization algorithm, which transforms 2D images into 3D volumetric representations.
When combined with 3D convolution and deep curriculum learning optimization (CLO), itsignificantly improves
the immunity of models against localized universal attacks by up to 40%. We evaluate our proposed approach
using contemporary CNN architectures and the modified Canadian Institute for Advanced Research (CIFAR-10
and CIFAR-100) and ImageNet Large Scale Visual Recognition Challenge (ILSVRC12) datasets, showcasing
accuracy improvements over previous techniques. The results indicate that the combination of the volumetric
input and curriculum learning holds significant promise for mitigating adversarial attacks without necessitating
adversary training.

Cosmetic shop management system project report.pdfKamal Acharya
Buying new cosmetic products is difficult. It can even be scary for those who have sensitive skin and are prone to skin trouble. The information needed to alleviate this problem is on the back of each product, but it's thought to interpret those ingredient lists unless you have a background in chemistry.
Instead of buying and hoping for the best, we can use data science to help us predict which products may be good fits for us. It includes various function programs to do the above mentioned tasks.
Data file handling has been effectively used in the program.
The automated cosmetic shop management system should deal with the automation of general workflow and administration process of the shop. The main processes of the system focus on customer's request where the system is able to search the most appropriate products and deliver it to the customers. It should help the employees to quickly identify the list of cosmetic product that have reached the minimum quantity and also keep a track of expired date for each cosmetic product. It should help the employees to find the rack number in which the product is placed. It is also Faster and more efficient way.
Water scarcity is the lack of fresh water resources to meet the standard water demand. There are two type of water scarcity. One is physical. The other is economic water scarcity.
