About Poets Definition of
patriot
Robert Browning (7 May 1812 – 12 December 1889) was an English
poet and playwright whose dramatic monologues put him high
among the Victorian poets.
He was noted for irony, characterization, dark humour, social
commentary, historical settings and challenging vocabulary and

Nissim Ezekiel (16 December 1924 – 9 January 2004) was an Indian Jewish poet,
actor, playwright, editor and art critic. (Joffe)
He was a foundational figure in postcolonial India's literary history, specifically for

applauded for his subtle, restrained and well crafted diction, dealing with common

Nissim Ezekiel is often considered the father of Modern Indian English poetry by
