2. Comparison and Contrast on studying at North South University
Campus and studying at home
Introduction: I have got admitted in North South University with the
determination of completing my higher education with a great result. I was
regularly coming to my university and attending my classes that was being taken
sincerely. Unfortunately, due to the Corona Virus pandemic, the university
authority has declared that our classes will be taken online and we have to study
at home. However, the university is providing online classes to make sure my
education is not hampered and I do not lack behind for this pandemic. Also I feel
that studying at home is effective as we can assure peace and avoid distractions.
But it is also a great fact that, everything has some similarities and differences.
Studying at home also has some similarities and differences compared to studying
at North South University campus. Here, I am going to share my facts according
to my personal research in this matter.
Comparison: As I said, studying at North South University campus is similar to
studying at home in some valuable facts. The valuable facts are given below:
 North South University campus is surrounded with friendly students and
instructors. Here I get the opportunity to express my thoughts and give my
opinion in many cases. The students and instructors value my opinion and
appreciate my thoughts that helps me to define my morality. So basically
the University campus is helping me to develop my character. At home, I
am fortunate for having the same atmosphere where my friendly family
members are inspiring me to develop my morality by appreciating my ideas
that is similar to my campus condition.
 North South University strictly preserves discipline, punctuality and
sincerity. The class starts at the scheduled time. So, the students have to be
punctual in order to maintain a good impression. The students are bound to
keep discipline otherwise the authority takes strict actions against them.
The classes are being taken very sincerely. Due to the corona pandemic,
online classes are being taken following the same system and students are
bound to attend the classes from home preserving these facts. So the

3. maintenance of punctuality, discipline and sincerity during studies are
being ensured both at university and at home.
 North South University encourages a student to follow the method of self-
learning. So the instructors give us the tricky assignments and reports to
accelerate our critical thinking capacity which help us to develop our
analytical skills. So basically the university ensures that the students utilize
their brain in the method of self-learning. Studying at home is an actual
form of self-learning. There is no instructor to guide us at home. So we
have to use our intelligence and research on our own as there is no specific
guidelines at home. So studying at both university and home are
introducing us with the importance of self-learning.
Contrast: The contrast on studying at North South University campus and
studying at home are given below:
 Home is a place where I can ensure peace and organise my home according
to my need. As a result, educational comfort can be assured and distractions
can be avoided easily at home. On the contrary, university campus is
crowded with many students. So it is quite difficult to find a suitable place
to study peacefully in the university. Sometimes students make loud noise
that distracts me from my concentration. So, Lack of quietness during
study is a common difference between studying at home and studying at
university campus.
 Group study provides a student the opportunity to enhance and share talent
hidden inside them. Students can fill in important information they missed
during lectures through group study. Every student has individual and
unique skill that can be shared and utilized by group study. Group study
also helps a student to upgrade his communication skill and teaches him to
value others opinion. University campus is the media of group study where
students can simply discuss and share their thoughts over any topics. But
studying at home creates an obstacle in this term.

4.  North South University supplies lab facilities to improve the analytical skill
of the students. Students mind remember researches and results figured out
by their own rather than texts. So lab facilities helps the students to get the
proper and perfect education in order to compete with the modern and
technology based generation. Getting effective study without lab research
is quite difficult. Unfortunately, it is impossible to effort lab equipment and
environment at home. So, experiencing lab facilities creates a difference
between studying at home and studying at university campus.
Conclusion: Everyone has different perception regarding studying at university
and studying at home. But I believe, studying at both university campus and home
are equally needed for the betterment of our education. University ensures our
proper higher education. On the contrary, home ensures a peaceful and
comfortable educational environment. Surely, studying at university and studying
at home has some similarities and differences. But we can see, both concept have
the same motive of giving a student proper and effective education. So there is
no denial to the fact that, both studying at university campus and studying at home
are individually needed to acquire higher education with perfection.
