Our use of bright/pale lighting shows clear links between Caro’s video. For this line of action we
increased the brightness levels to create a more dream like/airy state. This is similar in Caro’s video,
where it is also quite bright, clean and airy, with the emphasis placed on the person in the scene and
not on the location behind her.
We consistently build upon her metanarrative through our use of costume and makeup. In both stills you
can clearly see the use of a statement red lipstick, as well as a period style dress; this helps progress her
metanarrative as a period stylised singer, and also help define her brand image.
