person is probably going through it right now and nobody except the people around that person know
about it. Pain is common though no one wants to figure out the simplest questions. For example why
do we have pain and other questions related to it. Though now people can finally get answers. It is

Abstract: A mechanism of the initiated nonbranched chain process of forming 1,2 alkanediols and
carbonyl compounds in alcohol formaldehyde systems is suggested. The quasi steady state treatment
is used to obtain kinetic equations that can describe the nonmonotonic (with a maximum) dependences
of the formation rates of the products on the concentration of free unsolvated formaldehyde. The
experimental concentration of the free unsolvated form of formaldehyde are given at the different
temperatures, solvent permittivity, and total concentrations of formaldehyde in water and alcohols.
An empirical equation for calculating the free formaldehyde concentration in alcohol formaldehyde
(including water/ethanediol formaldehyde) systems at various temperatures and total formaldehyde
concentrations and an equation for evaluating solvent concentrations in these systems were derived.

years of age three afternoons a week. All three students are developmentally delayed and have
difficulty writing their letters correctly. I am interested in knowing whether or not students will
improve their letter formation of capital letters with use of the IPad application program for
Handwriting Without Tears (HWT). I plan to implement the IPad app with points given for each

During a world literature class, we watched a film called Baraka, which was cinematically beautiful
and restored within me this lost link with the natural world. It was a compilation of footage of people
and places all over the world, spliced together to form this story of the lives we lead in this modern
world. The film juxtaposed the hectic environment of the machinery that drives the mass production
of consumer goods with footage of serene Japanese snow monkeys relaxing in hot spring baths. This
to me represented how unnatural the world filled with technology and mass consumption in which we
live really is and how it fares poorly when compared with the natural world. It caught my eye that too
often as human beings we are caught up in the motions of life. As I was watching, I was undergoing a
self realization that we forget that we have some other purpose in life besides our monotonous
routines. We aren t just some specks under the sprawling skyscrapers and cities, we must retain our

Baraka presented these subliminal images that I could easily develop into connections to my life. The

Before starting this class, African American Literature, I wasn t too sure what to expect. I had never
taken an AFAS class before but I had heard great things from my friends so I decided to take one.
Professor Carter was an amazing professor and always sounded to extremely passionate and excited
during class which I found very admirable. The way he spoke about the different aspects of the class
and the different pieces of writing was very intriguing and always held my attention in class. We read
a variety of African American literature in this class which included novels, poems, and short stories
and each and every one of them related perfectly to what we were talking about during that time in
class. We studied different authors and their writing styles, as well as different eras including the
Harlem Renaissance.
The thing that set this class apart from the rest was the use of multimedia in the class. This included
the weekly voice threads, the live videos each class period, and the multimedia projects throughout the
semester. This was my favorite part of the class. I loved how the professor didn t just want us to
express our opinions of the literature in projects, but he wanted us to express our opinions in the most

On Tuesday, January 30th, Matt Wachowiak from Yale University gave a seminar on functional
imaging of the olfactory bulb in mice. He uses a fluorescent calcium sensitive dye to label the receptor
neurons in the nose; the dye is then transported to the terminals of those neurons in the olfactory bulb.
All of the receptor neurons that express receptors for a certain type of odor molecule send their axons
to the same localized structure within the olfactory bulb, called a glomerulus. By removing the skin

GWL markets itself as a provider of roof management solutions. The cost of a roof over its useful life
of about 20 years can be quite substantial for ICI properties. Maintaining a high quality roof is
essential to the value of the property, as well as to the continuity of the operations housed by the
property. However, most maintenance managers employed to manage ICI properties by property
managers, manufacturers, and other organizations are generalists, and typically don t have extensive
knowledge of roofing problems and proper roofing maintenance procedures. GWL not only sells the
physical roof itself, but also offers its customers worry free roofing solutions.
In order to meet the growing demand for expertise in roof maintenance, in 1998, GWL began offering
its customers a Roof Management Program with respect to the roofs that it installs. According to this
program, the customer enters into a long term maintenance and servicing contract with GWL. The
customer makes an annual maintenance payment, and GWL takes care of all matters pertaining to the

Gateway Credit Union (GCU) was established in 1955 as the Commonwealth Bank s staff credit
union, CBOA. In 1959 the ties with CBS were removed and Gateway became .B.O.A Credit Union Co
operative Ltd before evolving into Gateway Credit Union Ltd on 1 July 1998.
GCU s Membership isn t confined to a particular industry or community. GCU competes against all
financial institutions including mutuals, Big four and the second tier banks for loan and deposit
accounts. Still it has a loyal following amongst older CBA staff.
