Comic Books: Thinking Outside the Presentation Box

- 16. Biggest trick… Layer shapesand make borders same color as fill to cover overlaps...

- 19. A 3rd circle,resized and shaped to cover the overlap… The Zoom tool is your friend!
- 20. Change the Linecolor of the 3rd shape the match the Fill

- 22. Once you’re done,click and drag to highlight all the pieces, then Arrange- >Group to make a single object
- 23. Save all speechand thought bubbles for Slides, keep the character as clean as possible in Drawing

- 25. After you’ve Groupedyour character, Copy it, then Paste into a new Google Slides file...

- 29. This is a BIGcircle on the slide...
- 30. Only what isin the box gets seen… Color outside the lines to “hack” the deck
- 32. Semi circle success! Use the Arrange->Order menu to layer objects as you see fit. Put objects/boxes in front and behind one another
- 33. Changing the colorof the semicircle creates a “hill.” Adding a large box, and sending it to the back created a blue sky above my hill. And then animated clouds... My hill!My sky! My clouds!
