● Integrates seamlessly with Google Suite

● Facilitates easy single sign-on
○ The “Log in with Google” button most web services offer
● Automatic updates

When logging in the first time...
Click the Chrome icon on the Dock and you’ll see this box...

● Select the “Set Google Chrome as your default browser” box
● Then click “Start Google Chrome”

● Chrome will launch but the
macOS will try to keep
Safari as the default
● Click the “Use ‘Chrome’”
button
○ Sometimes this box will be
partially hidden behind the
Chrome window

If you don’t see
those previous
boxes...

Launch Chrome...
● Once Chrome opens, look under the address bar
● You might see a “Set as default” button
● Press it

If Chrome still
isn’t the default...

● Tap the 3 dot menu
● Choose “Settings”

Scroll down the Settings
Look for the “Default browser” section
Click the “MAKE DEFAULT” button
