The company
MONEYNET S.p.a. is an Interbank Service Center for e-money transactions, and a Payment institute with an
authorization from the Bank of Italy, operating in Italy for over 20 years (1992). Today as a Technological
Terminal Operator may control and manage all the steps of electronics payments on POS and ecommerce
transactions done on the domestic and international credit cards circuits (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners Club),
debit cards circuits (PagoBancomat, American Express, Diners Club, Visa Electron, Maestro, etc.) and contactless
cards circuits (Mastercard PayPass, Visa Paywave). Besides its activities of control and management to all the steps
of electronics payments, Moneynet offers added value services (loyalty programs, technological recharges,
electronic wallet) to the retail business and SMEs.
It works on almost all the national territory through direct technical and SAT centers (Technical Service
Assistance) specifically dedicated to POS network management; These SAT centers are allocated in each region
to aid merchants in a few time. Furthermore, Moneynet provides on site management (installation/maintenance)
for the POS fleet of the entire group, for a total of 400.000 traditional POS terminals.

Since May 2012 MONEYNET S.p.A. has officially become a Payment Institute, with
an authorization from the Bank of Italy (Legislative Decree n° 385/93 - Consolidated Banking
Act, Legislative Decree n° 11/2010 - Payment services in the internal market);This allows it to
offer to SMEs, freelancers and retail world the new IBANPOS which consists of an agreement
with the merchant for the selling of a POS combined with various services:Acquiring
PagoBancomat, International Acquiring (Visa e MasterCard), Payment Account manageable by
home banking and CBI (Corporate Banking Interbank) to make, according to the Payment
Account channel chosen, SEPA CreditTransfer (SCT) cash/payments, SEPA Direct Debit Core
(SDD Core) cash/payments, SEPA Electronic Database Alignment (SEDA), F24, MAV e RAV
Payments, withdrawal and payments with PagoBancomat’s Debit Card.

TheTSS of Moneynet
An entire division of Moneynet is dedicated to the
direct management, without intermediaries and
subcontractors, of theTSS – POSTechnical Support
Service – operations.
The company is now extensively distributed in a
number of Italian regions. Each city has aTechnical
Logistics Site (TLS) for managing the logistics of the
equipment and of the
banking terminals (POS,TCR,TOTEM,ATM,
Accessories, Modem Routers, etc.).

Moneynet uses the Business Continuity System to ensure
the security and quality of services:
•	The Business Continuity System permits rapid management of emergency
situations or crises that may affect the delivery of vital and critical services to clients
•	It possesses unique features in Italy, in compliance with the Directives of the Bank of Italy
and of European PSDs
•	The system is a Dual Site System, i.e. two systems working in parallel in
geographically distant sites (Padua and Aosta)
•	Each system is sized to carry the entire load in the event of a fault during peak-time
situations. It allows all types of maintenance operations without Service down‑time

  • 2. 2 The company MONEYNET S.p.a. is an Interbank Service Center for e-money transactions, and a Payment institute with an authorization from the Bank of Italy, operating in Italy for over 20 years (1992). Today as a Technological Terminal Operator may control and manage all the steps of electronics payments on POS and ecommerce transactions done on the domestic and international credit cards circuits (Visa, Mastercard, Amex, Diners Club), debit cards circuits (PagoBancomat, American Express, Diners Club, Visa Electron, Maestro, etc.) and contactless cards circuits (Mastercard PayPass, Visa Paywave). Besides its activities of control and management to all the steps of electronics payments, Moneynet offers added value services (loyalty programs, technological recharges, electronic wallet) to the retail business and SMEs. It works on almost all the national territory through direct technical and SAT centers (Technical Service Assistance) specifically dedicated to POS network management; These SAT centers are allocated in each region to aid merchants in a few time. Furthermore, Moneynet provides on site management (installation/maintenance) for the POS fleet of the entire group, for a total of 400.000 traditional POS terminals.

  • 8. 8 Business sector Payment institute Since May 2012 MONEYNET S.p.A. has officially become a Payment Institute, with an authorization from the Bank of Italy (Legislative Decree n° 385/93 - Consolidated Banking Act, Legislative Decree n° 11/2010 - Payment services in the internal market);This allows it to offer to SMEs, freelancers and retail world the new IBANPOS which consists of an agreement with the merchant for the selling of a POS combined with various services:Acquiring PagoBancomat, International Acquiring (Visa e MasterCard), Payment Account manageable by home banking and CBI (Corporate Banking Interbank) to make, according to the Payment Account channel chosen, SEPA CreditTransfer (SCT) cash/payments, SEPA Direct Debit Core (SDD Core) cash/payments, SEPA Electronic Database Alignment (SEDA), F24, MAV e RAV Payments, withdrawal and payments with PagoBancomat’s Debit Card.
