Pope John Paul II added a new set of mysteries, the luminous mysteries, which mark some of the
important teachings of Jesus life. Some Catholics carry rosaries with them everywhere, in pockets,
purses, or wallets.
Medals are small discs, usually made of metal, that depict images of Jesus, Mary, or a saint; they are
commonly worn as necklaces but show up in other formats as well. Theologically their purpose is to
remind the believer to be open to God s grace, but Catholics have traditionally believed them to carry
certain power. For instance, a Saint Christopher medal in cars is supposed to protect passengers, while
a necklace containing the Miraculous medal of Mary is said to protect its wearer. There are an
enormous number of different medals, each thought to provide a particular protection.
According to Church teaching, the most important sacramental is the use of blessings. Blessings are a
form of prayer asking God to grant grace to the person, place, or thing being blessed. Catholics often
say blessings before consuming meals, thanking God for the gift of the food they are about to eat.
Catholic parents have traditionally laid their hands on their children s heads as a form of blessing,

For the past few centuries, Egypt was ruled by foreigners that distributed wealth among their peers
and made the indigenous people their subjects. During the Nineteenth century, Egypt was ruled by
Mehmet Ali and his descendants. Mehmet Ali was a general sent by the Ottoman empire to expel
Napoleon Bonaparte from Egypt. Due to the increase pressure on the Ottoman Empire by Russia from
the North, Mehmet Ali parted ways and planned to build his own empire with military strength. Since
then, the leaders of Egypt have sustain power on owning majority of vast land. The land is used for
agriculture that produces revenue to support the army of Mehmet Ali. This land was distributed among
the friends and families of the kings who ruled Egypt who strengthen throughout the century. During
the late nineteenth century to mid 20 century, the British extend their rule in Egypt. This was strategic
for the British because they built the Suez canal which gave them a shorter route to India. Controlling
the Suez Canal enabled them to control world trade which made their empire even stronger. However,
the British not only controlled the Canal but exploited land. Cotton became the second most extracted
product from Egypt that went to the mills in the United Kingdom. It wasn t until the Free officers
revolted against the British to leave and the indigenous Egyptians for the first time controlled their

However, in contrast to Emily s poem, the speaker undervalues death s supremacy as its power is
actually not in its own control. It is a contradictory to Emily s poem. In line 9 Thou art slave to fate,
chance, kings, and desperate men indicates death as a slave as it does what has been ordered from the
superior ones. Death takes human s life not because he is willing to do so but because he is forced to

studied Ibuprofen, which originated as an anti acidic drug for gastrointestinal patients. The purpose of
the study was to assess the safety of non inflammatory drugs to treat cardiovascular disease (BMJ
2016, pg.1). Accordingly, of this study s 10 million participants, 92% had cardiovascular disease
caused by painkillers, and those who stopped using Ibuprofen reduced risk of worsening
cardiovascular condition. Various age ranges received different treatments. For minors, physicians
lowered doses as a precautionary measure. By contrast, long term users above age seventy seven who
were prescribed higher doses showed an increased risk of heart attack. Various ages, races, and sexes
were tested to generalize results. Hospitalization occurred in 95% of frequent ibuprofen users. Long
term usage showed destruction of the gastrointestinal tract. Ibuprofen was later found to lead to
stomach ulcers. The label clearly explains to consumers to consult a GI doctor before consumption.
Ibuprofen deprives the heart of oxygen enriched blood, which may result in heart failure. Readers will
draw focus on the alarm and potential health scares through medical evidence. As I compared the
British Medical Journal and the guardian, all relative information must be relayed throughout the

Everybody in their life has made mistakes, but there is a difference between the small mistakes that
people make on a daily basis, and those that can cause life altering events. In the three Zora Neal
Hurston stories, Sweat, Spunk, and The Gilded Six Bit, characters all make terrible mistakes that
affect the people that they love most. The outcomes of each story though are very different as the
characters face tough choices and deal with them in very different ways. Though these situations deal
with many of the same issues, the ability or inability for those in the stories to forgive individuals

On the night of October 8, 1871 at 9:00pm, a horrible fire broke loose. Very dry weather, leaving the
ground dry, the wooden city vulnerable. The abundance of wooden buildings a fire started in a barn,
outside in Chicago behind the home of Patrick and Catherine O Leary at 13 Dekoven street. The Great
Chicago Fire people are saying was caused by the cow of Patrick and Catherine O Leary kicked a

Ring a ding ding dong goes the alarm clock and I d be up. Springing from my brown bed, and I d be
off to the shower. I would then leap from the shower and begin brushing my teeth as I would also be

Reflection On Early Learning
This reflection reviews my time at Goodstart Early Learning in Kyneton and the four weeks I spent
there during my first practicum round. The review will critically reflect my experience from this
practicum, using readings and learnings my strengthens and weaknesses will be revealed. Strategies
will also be implemented in what areas I need to focus on before my next practicum round.
Something that I observed at the beginning of my practicum were the issues concerning behavioural
guidance. There was a group of four boys who required the greatest assistance, my experience in
managing people and being a parent quickly reminded me in how to best support them. Knowing each
child and what their abilities and interests are enable educators to respond sensitively and
appropriately to each child (Cohrssen, Church, Tayler, 2011). I spoke with my mentor and other
educators and discovered the backgrounds of these boys and reasonings for their behaviours. I learnt
by observing the other educators how these behavioural guidance issues were managed and the many
techniques they used. Something I realised with the learning experiences I conducted was the need to
not speak too quickly and be clear and concise with my instructions. As I have had limited interaction
with young children as my stepchildren are now adults, I was unaccustomed in how to effectively

In England, 1890 there was a tale named The Story of the Three Little Pigs . In this tale, an old sow
sends her three little pigs into the world to seek their fortune. The pig s meet a man; he supplies them
with building materials such as: straws, sticks, and bricks. Each pig uses one of the materials to build
their house with. The first pig builds his house with straws and the second with sticks; only to get
devoured by a hungry wolf who huffed and puffed and blew their houses down. However, the third pig
