Political scientist Samuel Huntington in his article, The Clash of Civilisations , argues a new concept
predicting the primary origin of future conflicts. His hypothesis follows the idea that the cause of

from a post cold war perspective in 1993, Huntington discusses how future wars will follow a similar

acute bilirubin encephalopathy and the chronic and permanent complication, kernicterus (American
Academy of Pediatrics [AAP], 2004). The laboratory implications for management of unconjugated
hyperbilirubinemia in term and late term infants ( 35 weeks gestation) after discharge home will now
be discussed. Risk assessment for jaundice should be performed on an infant before discharge from
the hospital, using TB or transcutaneous bilirubin and/or assessment of risk factors. Therefore, if the
TB is plotted on a nomogram prior to discharge, the PNP will have an idea about the infants risk for
developing hyperbilirubinemia at the initial newborn visit and can guide the need for laboratory
evaluation. If this is not available, the PNP should be aware of major risk factors for the development
of hyperbilirubinemia including jaundice present in the first 24 hours of life, blood group
incompatibility, gestational age of 35 36 weeks, sibling history of phototherapy, cephalohematoma or
significant bruising, exclusive breastfeeding, and East Asian race (AAP, 2004).

Whether it is watching a show on the television at home, or being outside in the real world, it is pretty
self explanatory that every person wants to feel represented and supported, felt like they are noticed or
acknowledged in today s society. No one wants to feel as if they are an outcast or are inferior to
someone or some group. Lately, there have been cases of certain groups of people being excluded

For example, directors wanting to make their shows centered on people in the LGBT community can
sometimes over exaggerate the idea, tinting the proposition of what people have in their minds of this
community. From this, stereotypes can form, especially in the minds of children that are easy to sway
because they are still forming opinions. People who only go off of the media s portrayal of gays can

These are two polar ideas but have the same goals and we as human beings want to teach our kids
same morals and standards as for us because with them one has gone on to be successful (hopefully)
