Ancient Greeks believed in gods and goddesses that each protected or helped with something different. Athens was known for its democracy while Sparta had strict laws and trained both boys and girls to be soldiers to produce fit offspring. Though initially outnumbered, Athens used clever tactics to defeat the much larger Persian army at the Battle of Marathon with far fewer casualties.

the training because Spartans believe if they are fit,
they will have fit babies
Athens was greedy. It took most of Greek's space.

with 10000 men, whilst the Persian army have 100000.
4.Athens used their clever tactics to defeat Persia .
5.Athens lost 192 men, whilst the Persian army lost 6400.
6.Persia surrender. Athens won.
