A hard working employee who likes to get work done in an efficient and timely
manner. Works well under pressure and is able to deal with difficult customers well
after several years as a complaints champion. Always positive, friendly and easy to

Career History
Cooperative Insurance Claims Assessor/Negotiator 1988-2010
Including dealing with motor, household, injury, employer and public liability, disease
and travel claims.
Interacted with the public on the telephone and during home visits. I have carried out
locus reports at accident scenes and interviewed witnesses to obtain statements for
liability investigation purposes.
Visited businesses to investigate public liability claims and to advise them on health
and safety. The last 5 years of my time with CIS I was predominantly handling
personal injury claims up to £100,000.
Team leader for around 3 years supervising on average 5 members of staff. This
included allocating work, carrying out year end reviews and administrative duties such
as attendance records and back to work interviews following sickness. I have trained
many new starters from scratch and continued to be a referral point for many more.
NFU Mutual Insurance Claims Handler 2010-present
Injury Claims Specialist in Foreign Department. Dealing with claims up to £150,000.
I have represented the company on a number of International Claims Conferences,
delivering short presentations and developing relationships with Foreign Partners.
I've also been deeply involved in dealing with the ever increasing Hearing Loss claims.

Personal Interests
Played for Rugby Hockey Club, a Midlands Premier League team, since 1986, 25 years
for the first team. I have been the club fixture secretary for our 10 mens teams since
2010. I have played for Midland Vets since 2014, scoring against Wales and Scotland!
UK Regional Champions in 2014, Runners up in 2015.
I am a very keen golfer with a 5 handicap and a level 1 PGA coaching badge. I was a
member of Whitefields Golf Club from 1992 – 2014 and Collingtree since 2014.
I also play squash and attend the local gym on a regular basis.
I am single with no children and have a full clean driving licence.
