The Reserve of Resources
 The low-seam and extra low-seam whose thickness under 1.3m take 60% of the total. (among
which , extra low-seam whose thickness under 0.8m takes 30%.) The medium-thickness coalseam
under 1.3~3.5m takes 39%,(mostlyunder 2.0m) and for these whose thickness above 3.5m takes
10%.
 The flat seam and gently inclined seam take 55%, and the inclined low seam and Steeply inclined
low seam take 45% (among which, the seam with the inclination of 35. - 70. takes 30% of the total) .
 Fault , Fallen-columns , Fold , Joint ,Fracture Development, ComplicatedCoal Seam Structure,
Thickness Changes,Roof and FloorLack Stability.

The Disaster Situation
There’re various disaster factors such as water, fire, gas, coal dust, hydrogen sulfide and
roof existing in all the mines of Sichuan Coal Industry Group Limited Liability Company to
varying degree . The disasters gets severe and serious with the increase of the mining
depth.
Coal seam gas-bearing capacity is 10-25 m3/t, maximum coal seam gas pressure is
4.85MPa.
They are all the coal seam with low gas permeability and hard to exploit.
- Coal gas outburst and large amount of mines with high gas.
- Ten couples of mines with high possibility of coal seam spontaneous combustion.
- 23 couples of mines with high possibility of gas and dust explosion.

(1) Integrated Mining Technology
Developed with our domestic partners, HOT-mining firstly realized the integrated and
mechanized mining technology for the edge seams(35-55°). For the Lvshuidong
Coal Mine, we solved the technical problems of skid resistance and safety protection of
the Coal Cutter, Conveyor, Hydraulic Support.

The efficiency improvement of Lvshuidong Coal Mine
after taking the integrated mining technology.
The annual output increased by 469% and recovery of resources increased by
more than 1 times which reached the international leading level.
By continuous research and study for years, HOT
Mining achieved:
 The edge seams mining have been improved from about 30°to 60°;
 Our technology has been applied in Sichuan, Chongqing, Guizhou, Yunnan,
Hunan and other large provinces and cities with a total number of more
than 20.

(2) Steeply Inclined Seams Pseudo-pitch Puppet Downward Integrated
Mining Technology
 To solve the technical difficulty of seam inclination over 60 ° and these under 60°but with soft
and sloughing- prone seam, Hot-mining among with other domestic expertpartners developedthe
steeplyinclined seams pseudo-pitchpuppetdownward integrated mining technologyand
complete setof equipment.
 This technologywas first tested and applied in Liziya South Coal Mine which is a coal and gas
outburst mine.
 The tested working face oblique 58 meters long. Its average thickness of coal was 1.93m,and its
average dip angle was 62°(somewas 70°). During the testing period,the average monthly
productionwas around 21,000 tons. No serious injury or other accidentwas reported and the
safety conditionwas very good.

(3)Full Mechanized Mining-Sublevel Caving Mining Technology Applied
in Thick Coal Seam
Case: FMM-Sublevel Caving Mining Tech was adopted by Sichuan Coal Group Panmei
Company in Dabaoding Coal Mine, and achieved 100,000 ton output monthly on the
working face with 4.7m coal thickness and 45°inclination angle.
(4)The Thick Seam Mining with Large Dip Angle Integrated One-pass
Mining Technology
The test was started from June 2013, in Huashan Coal Mine 4238 working face and achieved
great success.
The testing production working face’s total thickness was 4.5-5.5m,and the dip angle was38
°-45°
The Yield level reached 70,000 tons. And the recovery of resources was improved. It also
enriched the diversity of our mining technology as well.

2.The low seam and Extra low seam Integrated Mining
Technology
(1)0.8-1.3m Low Seam Integrated Mining Technology
Feature: Independent research and development of low seam cantilever
Shearer , low machine surface height (570), Coal is too high altitude
(300), High installed power (421KW), Cutting power up to 2 *
150KW, Coal loading effect(more than 90%), strong adaptability of fault,
seam thickness and other geological conditions, to achieve a thin coal
seam face from the open gap, bidirectional cutting coal.

Three Engine Ground Test Site Working Face Production Site
Achieve 0.8-1.3 m thin coal seam double-drum shearer comprehensive mechanized and
efficient mining. At an average thickness of 0.85 meters of coal mine plums Pass layered
face, monthly production of 30,000 tons. To achieve a layered approximately 10.4 million
tons of coal resources under hard use plums Pass mining, and prolong the service life of
mine for about nine years.

(2)Low Seam Mining
 Developed bottom climbing electric traction shearer ,for the first time achieved a
minimum limit of low seam mining height 0.55m mechanized mining.
Artisanal Mining The Comprehensive Mechanized Mining
The application of the technology, coal face yields 1.8 times, mining efficiency
increased by 3.38 times, tons of coal production cost was reduced by 63%.

The Reserve of Resources and Disaster in SouthwestChina The Reserve of Resources  The low-seam and extra low-seam whose thickness under 1.3m take 60% of the total. (among which , extra low-seam whose thickness under 0.8m takes 30%.) The medium-thickness coalseam under 1.3~3.5m takes 39%,(mostlyunder 2.0m) and for these whose thickness above 3.5m takes 10%.  The flat seam and gently inclined seam take 55%, and the inclined low seam and Steeply inclined low seam take 45% (among which, the seam with the inclination of 35. - 70. takes 30% of the total) .  Fault , Fallen-columns , Fold , Joint ,Fracture Development, ComplicatedCoal Seam Structure, Thickness Changes,Roof and FloorLack Stability.

Beijing HOT Mining TechCo.,Ltd www.hot-mining.com The Disaster Situation There’re various disaster factors such as water, fire, gas, coal dust, hydrogen sulfide and roof existing in all the mines of Sichuan Coal Industry Group Limited Liability Company to varying degree . The disasters gets severe and serious with the increase of the mining depth. Coal seam gas-bearing capacity is 10-25 m3/t, maximum coal seam gas pressure is 4.85MPa. They are all the coal seam with low gas permeability and hard to exploit. - Coal gas outburst and large amount of mines with high gas. - Ten couples of mines with high possibility of coal seam spontaneous combustion. - 23 couples of mines with high possibility of gas and dust explosion.

For the Lvshuidong Coal Mine, we solved the technical problems of skid resistance and safety protection of the Coal Cutter, Conveyor, Hydraulic Support.

The annual output increased by 469% and recovery of resources increased by more than 1 times which reached the international leading level. Beijing HOT Mining TechCo.,Ltd www.hot-mining.com (2) Steeply Inclined Seams Pseudo-pitch Puppet Downward Integrated Mining Technology  To solve the technical difficulty of seam inclination over 60 ° and these under 60°but with soft and sloughing- prone seam, Hot-mining among with other domestic expertpartners developedthe steeplyinclined seams pseudo-pitchpuppetdownward integrated mining technologyand complete setof equipment.  This technologywas first tested and applied in Liziya South Coal Mine which is a coal and gas outburst mine.  The tested working face oblique 58 meters long. Its average thickness of coal was 1.93m,and its average dip angle was 62°(somewas 70°). During the testing period,the average monthly productionwas around 21,000 tons. No serious injury or other accidentwas reported and the safety conditionwas very good.

Beijing HOT Mining TechCo.,Ltd www.hot-mining.com (3)Full Mechanized Mining-Sublevel Caving Mining Technology Applied in Thick Coal Seam Case: FMM-Sublevel Caving Mining Tech was adopted by Sichuan Coal Group Panmei Company in Dabaoding Coal Mine, and achieved 100,000 ton output monthly on the working face with 4.7m coal thickness and 45°inclination angle. (4)The Thick Seam Mining with Large Dip Angle Integrated One-pass Mining Technology The test was started from June 2013, in Huashan Coal Mine 4238 working face and achieved great success. The testing production working face’s total thickness was 4.5-5.5m,and the dip angle was38 °-45° The Yield level reached 70,000 tons. And the recovery of resources was improved. It also enriched the diversity of our mining technology as well.

Beijing HOT Mining TechCo.,Ltd www.hot-mining.com 2.The low seam and Extra low seam Integrated Mining Technology (1)0.8-1.3m Low Seam Integrated Mining Technology Feature: Independent research and development of low seam cantilever Shearer , low machine surface height (570), Coal is too high altitude (300), High installed power (421KW), Cutting power up to 2 * 150KW, Coal loading effect(more than 90%), strong adaptability of fault, seam thickness and other geological conditions, to achieve a thin coal seam face from the open gap, bidirectional cutting coal.

At an average thickness of 0.85 meters of coal mine plums Pass layered face, monthly production of 30,000 tons. To achieve a layered approximately 10.4 million tons of coal resources under hard use plums Pass mining, and prolong the service life of mine for about nine years.
