This document provides a final report on the Clontarf Flood Defence Project to Dublin City Council. It summarizes the modified flood defence proposal, feedback received at public information sessions, and funding, planning and procurement considerations. The Assistant City Manager recommends proceeding with the modified proposal as the only feasible option to protect the area from coastal flooding in the short to medium term, despite public opposition, as no other suggested alternatives were deemed viable by experts. However, the project remains unpopular with local representatives and residents.
