4. A “herb” is an herbaceous plant that lacks a woody stem and dies to
the ground each winter. Another definition describes herbs as any
plant or plant part that has historically been used for culinary or
fragrance purposes.
Herbs are a widely distributed and widespread group of plants, excluding
vegetables and other plants consumed for macronutrients, with savory or
aromatic properties that are used for flavoring and garnishing food, for
medicinal purposes, or for fragrances.
HERBS
Examples of herbs are annual bedding plants, vegetables, Aster,
Gerbera, Balsam, Phlox, and Zinnia.

6. SHRUBS
A shrub, is any woody plant that has several stems, none dominant, and
is usually less than 3 m (10 feet) tall. When much-branched and dense, it
may be called a bush. Intermediate between shrubs and trees are
arborescence's, or treelike shrubs, from 3 to 10 m tall.
A shrub is a small- to medium-sized perennial woody plant. Unlike
herbaceous plants, shrubs have persistent woody stems above the ground.
Shrubs can be deciduous or evergreen. They are distinguished from trees
by their multiple stems and shorter height, less than 6–10 m tall.
Examples: Karonda (Carissa carandas L.) Phalse (Grewia subinaequalis D.C.), Citrus
limonia var. variegate, Jasmines, Duranta plumieri, Crotons, Acalyphas, Jatropha
pandurifolia, J. rosea, Hibiscus and Bougainvillea.

8. TREES
A tree is a tall plant with a trunk and branches made of wood. Trees
can live for many years.
The plants have a main trunk with woody branches arising from the
upper part of the trunk are called trees.
Example: Mango, Aonla, Gulmohar, Jamun etc.
11. BROADLEAF
Broadleaf plants (also called "broad-leaved") are those with leaves that have a flat,
relatively broad surface. This surface is often marked with a network of prominent veins.
Many broadleaf weeds spread through their seeds and rhizomes, although some only
spread through seeds. Popular Broadleaf Weeds are Chickweed, Clover, Dandelion,
Wild Geranium, Ivy, Milkweed, Plantain (Broadleaf), and Thistle.

13. NARROWLEAF
A plantain (plantago lanceolata) with long narrow ribbed leaves tapering to a point at the
ends that is native to eurasia but is widely naturalized as a weed.
Narrowleaf plants have needle-like (e.g., pine, spruce) or awl-like (e.g. junipers)
Example: conifer leaves are narrow. Some conifers have needles, and some have
scale-like leaves. Conifers such as pine trees, spruce, and firs have needles.

15. GRASS-LIKE
Grass-like plants have narrow leaves, usually arising from the base of the plant. The leaves
may be soft (ornamental grasses) or stiff (yucca).
