WILD'S GRAVITY
Know the different methods used by animals to hunt and catch their
food. How they hunt. What are the strategies adopted by hunters in the
forest.
KOMODO DRAGON
Among the dangerous animals, let us first talk about the
Komodo dragon, which does not even allow its prey to
move due to its attacking skills. The attack of Komodo
dragon is so dangerous that even humans are forced to
run away from it. Known as the largest living lizard, this
animal is also known as Land Crocodile due to its attacks.
They are only 3 meters long in size but weigh up to 70
kilograms.
Talking about attacks, Komodo dragons mostly attack in
groups. And by attacking the neck or lower part of their
victim, they leave them half dead and when the victim
does not have the strength to fight after losing more
than half of the blood of their body, they leave them. In
this attack they have sharp claws and sharp teeth help in
killing the prey quickly.
Apart from this, it is believed that there is poison present
in their teeth and lower jaw which helps in killing the
prey quickly.
HUNTER ANIMALS
Golden eagle
After attacking, many animals are known to kill their prey and cook it, but today we
will tell you one such thing about the Golden Eagle, knowing which you will also
start wondering how birds are so intelligent. Normally, the method of attack of the
Golden Eagle is simple. With the help of its powerful feet and sharp talons, it
destroys all four sides of the enemy.
It is common for them to catch their prey in their legs and fly away. They trap it and
take it to a safe place and then kill it by biting it with the help of its beak. Although
they often make squirrels, grouse partridges, reptiles and small birds their food, but
in the past, they have eaten larger animals like goats.
Their intelligence level was measured when they first threw a goat standing at a
height to the ground with the help of their claws and beak and then when the goat
died due to falling from a height, they easily killed it. Made it his food.
Electric eel
We have seen animals that kill their prey by flying and swallowing
them, but now let's talk about the electric eel, which God has sent to
this earth by blessing it with electric current. Electric eels have electric
current for their security. Which it mostly uses either to save its life or
to arrange for its food.
Whenever a prey or predator comes near it, it releases an unusual
electric charge from its body which gives a shock of 440 watts to the
person in front. Due to which it mostly dies. Electric eel lives in the
depth of water where there is darkness which makes it easier for them
to hunt. As prey, they like to eat amphibians and reptiles like fish,
scorpion, insects and small rodents.
Deinopidae Spider
There are so many surprising things in nature that sometimes you might think
they are an illusion but in reality it is true and this is also the specialty of nature,
like if you talk about Deinopidae, whose way of attacking is exactly like that of
humans. Yes, just as humans catch their prey by laying a net in the forest, in the
same way Deinopidae also very quietly lays a net of its own making to catch its
prey and as soon as it sees a prey, it closes its net.
Leaves it on top and then very easily makes the caught insects its food. As
strange as it sounds, it is equally interesting to see. Looking at their way of
hunting, they are called Net Casting Spiders. Also known and are mostly found
in Australia, Africa and America.
FROGFISH
01
If we talk to you about the fastest animal, then of course you will take the name of cheetah.
If we talk to you about the fastest bite, then of course no one is faster than the frog fish.
The speed with which this fish bites is impossible to measure even in seconds. This fish's
bite is faster than the blink of an eye and its beauty is like a vacuum which sucks any
creature inside itself. Its unusual look has also given it the ability to catch its prey through
mimicry.
After selecting the victim, it digests the prey at the speed of light. Apart from speed, these
fish have also got Spanish which they use to hide themselves while hunting and many
frogfish even change their color. Now, no matter how effective hunters they are, they are
considered to be super agile and poor swimmers who prefer to stay on the ocean floor.
02
It is not necessary that everything that looks beautiful should be lovely. For example, look at
secretary birds which are very beautiful in appearance but in reality they are quite fierce. Their way
of attacking is ruthless due to which many animals hesitate to come in front of them.
These birds hunt more in land areas. on the ground. If we talk about preference, then Secretary
birds like to hunt in pairs but when needed, they attack the prey alone. Their main weapon for
hunting is their feet with which they hunt. They kill animals by kicking or crushing them. Secretary
birds living in Africa mostly prey on locust beetles, mouse, hares and mongoose, but when their
hunger crosses the limits, they also prey on cobras. While attacking without thinking first, these
birds mostly spread their wings in the air and continuously kill and eat the prey with the help of
their legs.
SECRETARY BIRD
MARGAY CAT
Margay is the name of that wild animal which, being
a cat, considers itself like a monkey. The methods of
attack of this cat are amazing but you will be
surprised to know that Margay can also climb trees
vertically at 180 degree angle. It knows amazing
techniques of climbing, due to which it is compared
to a monkey.
Marge is a resident of South and Central America, which attracts its
prey through mimicry before hunting. To attract the prey, Marge
uses the monkey's small children. They emit sounds due to which as
soon as they come near the prey, they attack it and kill it. Due to this,
their energy is wasted less and the success rate of their attack also
increases.
03
In the name of hunting, they are called monkeys,
squirrels, birds, eggs. ,Likes to eat lizards and
treefrogs.
SEA HUNTERS
Archer fish
Humans may not have as much brain as the animals included in our list. Another show of
intelligence is coming to show. Archer fish is the fish which is known to defeat any prey due to
its amazing intelligence. The attacking technique of this fish is amazing. It first throws its prey
into the water with a strong jet of water and then chases it rapidly to satisfy its hunger.
At the same speed with which a jet of water comes out from a super soaker, it spits water into
its mouth. After reaching the surface of the water, it attacks with full energy the insects living at
a height of a few meters from it and if by mistake it hits them for the first time. Even if the attack
misses, it can release a shower of water from its mouth seven times in a row. The use of the
word Archer in its name has also been kept in view of its arch abilities.
Glowworm
It is said that everything that glitters is not gold. This statement is completely true on Glowworms.
Even the best of people can get confused after seeing these worms because they have a light which is
present in their body to shine in the darkness of night. These worms are attached to the body and this
light is God gifted to them.
You may feel disgusted to see these worms from close, but when seen together from a distance, they
look like stars in the open sky, which tourists come from far and wide to see together. But before
getting fascinated by their light, you should know that their light is a means of hunting them.
Glowworms glow through bioluminescence, which is due to a chemical reaction in their body.
They attract insects with their glow. And as soon as any insect gets attracted by their glow and wants
to come near them, it gets trapped in the large sticky webs spread by them, after which they eat it
easily.
BOTTLENOSE DOLPHINS
The way bottlenose dolphins attack will seem like a movie shoot. To
hunt, these dolphins work in a team and prepare their food using
strangers' techniques. While attacking, these dolphins make mud nets
which The reason is that small fish jump together to come out of that
mud nest and become their prey. These dolphins do not allow the
jumping fish to go back to the water.
To attack, a dolphin hits the seabed with its tail while swimming. And it
throws up mud on the seabed and creates a cloud in the water. Along
with this, it makes a net in the water with the mud, in which the fishes
trapped in the net lose their lives while trying to get out of it.
