The City Resilience Index (CRI), supported by the Rockefeller Foundation and developed by Arup, provides a framework for cities to assess and improve their resilience against various challenges like climate change and urbanization. It is structured around four dimensions—health and well-being, economy and society, infrastructure and environment, and leadership and strategy—comprising 12 goals and 52 indicators that guide cities in fostering resilience. The CRI is designed for city governments and other stakeholders to evaluate their own performance over time without ranking cities against each other.
