Ingredients
• 250g dark chocolate
• 250g unsalted butter
• 1 cup brown sugar
• 1 cup caster sugar
• ¾ cup plain flour
• ¾ cup self raising flour
• 5 eggs
• 200g white chocolate
chips
• 1/3 cup icing sugar
Equipment
Brownie Pan/ tin
Baking paper
Big mixing bowl
Spatula
Measuring cups
Small bowl
Fork
Knife
Cooling rack
Sifter
• Preheat oven to
180 degrees
• Measure dark
chocolate, break into
squares into the mixing
bowl
• Add the butter, caster
sugar and the brown
sugar.
• Microwave on high for
90 seconds, stirring
every 30 seconds.
• Allow it to cool for a few
minutes
• Sift in the plain and self
raising flour
• Stir it through.
• Crack the eggs into a
small bowl and whisk
them with a fork
• Add the eggs and mix
well.
• Add the white
chocolate chips and mix
well.
• Line the brownie pan
with the baking paper
• Pour the mixture into
the brownie pan and
spread it out evenly
• Bake in the oven for 30-
40 minutes or until a
knife stuck in comes out
with a little bit of
mixture on it.
• Put it on a cooling rack
until it is cool.
• Sift over icing sugar.
• Cut and serve.
