Since 2014, despite negative influence from slower economic growth at home and abroad and high-speed railway on Chinese aviation market demand, China’s civil aviation passenger throughput still kept relatively rapid growth driven by tourist’s leisure demand, and cargo & mail throughput rallied slightly driven by a pickup in exports. In the first eleven months of 2014, China’s total civil aviation turnover, passenger turnover, and cargo & mail turnover reached 68.385 billion ton-kilometers, 580.181 billion passenger-kilometers, and 16.874 billion ton-kilometers, a year-on-year increase of 11.1%, 11.60%, and 8.8%, respectively.

This study concerned the study and analysis of the demand function of the railway transport sector in Iraq and the factors influencing it. These factors influenced the numbers of passengers and the quantities of goods transported by them. It was found by estimating the demand analysis that the railway transport sector in Iraq suffers from a decline in the level of services provided passenger and cargo transport, due to the deterioration of infrastructure lines and units moving and lack of comfort, speed and safety in which factors, led the sector important loss in support of the national economy , And the reluctance of most passengers and owners of goods for the acquisition of this service in the mobility and transition to other modes of transport and then lost to compete with other means of transport. organizations and domains. Sometimes members of the group have never even met
face to face. The requirement to be co-located in order to collaborate is no longer the
norm since there are now so many alternative methods of virtual communication and
coordination using web tools and methods. There are many tools (Drupal, Mediawiki,
Google +, Twitter, Facebook) that support communication, coordination and
collaboration around a topic. The good thing about all of these tools is that they are
flexible and customizable, but this also poses a challenge of how to set-up the tools
to best support your group. Often these collaboration are supported by an ad-hoc
member of the group, who is working within the group, but also is supporting the
collaboration of the group. This person often will have created methods to supporting
the group such as sending out the email reminders, hosting the telecons and
updating the web pages. This at times can be a frustrating job because only a small
fraction of the group participates at any given time. This Birds of a Feather session is
intended to bring together these ad-hoc community manager practitioners to
compare what is working to support virtual collaboration and what are the
challenges. Hopefully, the outcome of this session will be a web-based forum to
improve the efficiency of these Earth science community managers.
