This project aimed to create awareness about childhood diabetes amongst students. The objectives were to educate students about diabetes prevention, promote a healthy diet and exercise, and avoid self-medication. Students researched diabetes, conducted a health survey of local families, and organized an awareness campaign. The project improved students' understanding of diabetes and motivated healthy behaviors. It also strengthened parent-teacher relationships and reduced student absences.

This project was intended to allow grade 5 students to understand
the importance of Childhood Diabetes through Child Care.
The students will be divided into a teams of 8 students .

13. In the early part of 20th century, nutritional deficiencies and
infectious disorders were the most prevalent health problems
of the economically underprivileged an developing countries.
It was generally believed that chronic degenerative disorders
were virtually nonexistent.
Observation by astute clinicians in the earlier years followed
by school surveys by research teams proved that rheumatic
diseases are one of the most common chronic disorders of
childhood in India. The story of Childhood diabetes is not
different either. Many physicians and pediatricians still
believe and teach that childhood diabetes is rare.
