• Shito Ryu Karate Do Kensho Bugei Kai Intl. was founded by Shihan Haridas and Sensei Venugopal in the year 2011 with the purpose of
imparting training in Authentic Japanese Karate to the youth and children of India and in the process to help build strong character in
children. Shihan Haridas has been teaching Karate since last 3 decades. He has been training many national and international champions.
He has taught in India and abroad as well. He educated himself to be a marketing professional and after a stint of 2 decades as a marketing
professional, he has rededicated himself totally for propagation of Karate and empowerment programs for women. Since over 5 years
Shihan Haridas has devised various modules and programs to empower women through his self defense training. He has developed his
course content over the years to incorporate both mental and physical aspects of self defense for women. He has been conducting training
for school girls and the working women as well and his programs have been very popular with the participants. The women empowerment
and also child abuse related awareness programs are now being conducted under the auspices of KBK RAKSHA.

 Handle a confrontation: verbally, mentally, and

 Safety items and how to use your cell phone as an
“invisible friend”
 Specific locations: elevators, street, subways, dates,
bars, taxis, etc.

 Escape from grabs and chokeholds

8. SDW MP8
The sessions are designed in accordance to the school set ups. 4 sessions are conducted every
month. Each session will be 60 to 90 mins long. The objective is to prepare the girl child against
any kind of violence may take place around her in future.
Visuals, presentations, techniques, practical, theory all are a part of the session. After 6 months
i.e. 12 sessions an exam may or may not be conducted to ensure the progress of the student.
